The Manor House Inn
Very pricey and simply didn't match other similarly priced experiences. Food was good, seating was crowded and noisy in the conservatory. Staff attentive and friendly, plenty of them too, but the vibe just wasn't there. Maybe it was where we sat (not in the old part) it was one of the most expensive meals we had on holiday.

This pub is one of the few that I would call truly dog friendly pubs that we visited in North Devon ,allowing dogs and their owners in the bar area to have drinks and food ,most would not allow dogs inside at all, which is OK if the weather is good and you can eat outside but as we all know the British weather can't be guaranteed.North Devon needs to learn a thing or two from CornwallThis, however, is a great pub with really friendly staff ,great food, and a nice welcoming atmosphere.We visited twice and ate on both occasions, Sunday cavery and a burger, both were really good, especially the Carvery.Will definitely revisit the next time we are in the area

Went for dinner on Saturday evening. There was a bit of a wait for food as it was very busy, but definitely worth it. I had chicken supreme and my husband and son had the curry. All tasted lovely. Would recommend a visit. Will be returning.

Stopped for a quick drink on a walk £6.90 for a Shandy (pint) and diet Pepsi, standard fare I suppose these days! Food looked good and staff were friendly. A standard pub that is looking like it might need updating soon.

This is the Monkfish special. Four small prawns and two tiny cubes of fish for £24. They gave us a discount after I spoke to the manager but I wouldn't eat here again. The sticky toffee pudding they served us was still ice cold in the middle and they asked us to give up our table after they assured us on phone we'd have it for the evening. Avoid!

Visited this pub for an evening meal for our last night in Croyde. The staff were really friendly, the service was great and the food was really tasty . We were even treated to display of Morris dancing too which was a nice surprise.

We've found a new pub. We've been going to Croyde for a few years now and didn't know it had 3 pubs. Place is lovely and I'm looking forward to going there again. Food and service was fantastic. Looks like it has a big outdoor area out back with a games room which would be great in summer. See you in the summer.

This was our 'go-to' place when staying in Croyde and always enjoyed our food and experience here however this time will unfortunately be our last.We got seated in quite a nice quiet area (or so we thought) - we received our drinks quickly BUT it then took 20 minutes for our food order to be taken then a further 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Food is very overpriced and an OK quality at best.About 30 minutes into our dining experience, a table of 15 people got seated opposite us, they were extremely loud, rude and the staff didn't do anything to stop them.We had hoped to stay after our meal for a few drinks and enjoy our the final day of our holiday but this was ruined and we left straight after our main meal.Overall experience was extremely poor and we will not return again.One word to sum up our experience - Disappointing

We stopped by for dinner on a Friday night whilst staying in Braunton. The pub had a lovely vibe, very chilled and friendly. Every member is staff we spoke to was so lovely (even when confronted with our barky dachshund who did eventually settle down for a nap!) We ordered the rump steak and a burger for mains and the sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel brownie for dessert. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous (honestly the biggest onion rings I’ve ever seen). We wouldn’t hesitate to come back if we’re ever back in the area!

Great pub, lovely atmosphere inside, play area outside. Staff are always lovely and great. Table service and great food.My son is coeliac, and I am very comfortable eating here and have done several times over the last few years. Love it!!
