Capital House - Student Accommodation

I would recommend this apartment to everyone! It's absolutely wonderful! Here are the reasons for why I like it:1.The staff are nice. I have been lived here for 4 days and all the staff I have met are quite friendly and patient, as a foreigner, I feel easy and happy to talk with them.2.It has all the equipment you need so you can settle down quickly and easily. It has reading lamp so you don't need to buy one , it has hooks so you can hang your stuff. Compared with my friend's apartment, I feel this is a wonderful place.3.It's quite close to the city center, so you can go shopping at any time you want.

Great experience for my first year at university, the staff are very nice and helpful if there were any issues. The rooms look very modern and built well for sound proof. Another great thing that I like was the amount of charging stations at there are so many for a small room, so it's great for all my devices.

Capital House is a wonderful place to live. The kitchen facilities work well and easy to use. The shower pressure is amazing and very strong. The layout of the rooms makes it spacious and have a modern design. The security are very helpful and diligent. The accommodation team have been outstanding. I needed to change places to live and wanted to move in fast. With the help of Sher and Clare, I was able to move in quickly. They were happy to answer all my enquires and went out of their way to be accommodating and kind. This place is excellent value for money. I can confidently say that I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

1 star review mostly cos of the staff, so rude and unhelpful, security were very nice though, way more than the actual staff.By the way, a lot of these 5 star reviews are probably because according to a friend they get a free keycard (you know, what you need to access your room) if you leave a 5 star review, so if you lose it best get to giving a review!

The worst accommodation u can deal with, the room was fine, unlike the rest of the building.. dirty , the mess cannot be described and they aren’t care about the residents and uncooperative. it’s all about the money (not deserve a pound)I would recommend it if u hate urself that much.

Overall had a good experience living at Capital House. Very accommodating to Warsash cadets by allowing us a different payment plan as we don’t have student finance. Study rooms are a great feature. Very close to the city centre and St Mary’s campus. Staff are very friendly and helpful, special mention to Yazmin and Leanne. Townhouses are nice, modern looking. Actually quite a lot of space. Washing machines can be an issue through not working or having to wait ages to use them. The townhouse itself was quite dirty on arrival unfortunately.

Lived there for two academic years.It’s in a very good location(7mins away from lild 20mins from train station, and 10mins from Solent university).I lived in a cluster ensuite which is sufficient for me.The kitchen facilities are decent, everything works.Gym onsite which is basic but more than enough for cardio based workouts if you’re looking to build strength you will need to find a better gym.The manager on site is good, the maintenance man is amazing and always cheerful and security are great.The main negatives the study area could use some renewing as the study pods look a bit dirty and dated. The kitchen door can be loud when people use them at night or when it is windy.

Capital House is such a good opportunity for students who wanna feel comfortable and safe when they are at home. I always felt really safe here because of the 24/7 security service and really comfortable in my studio. Additional, the ladies at the reception are just lovely. They are always nice and really helpful. Furthermore, the location of the accommodation is just perfect: 5 min to the city centre, 10 min Ocean Village and 8 min to Solent Uni.I can definitely recommend living there as a student.

The place is so awesome and it feels really homely. People here are really nice to you as well! The staffs are incredible as well and they actually recognise us within the few weeks of shifting in. They have never been kinder. If it is your birthday, they would display a Happy Birthday" with your name at the counter for everyone to see
