Response to owner: You are just lying now. It was not taken in more than once. You hadn’t taken it in at all when you got me back to measure it again. You had just unpicked it. You are also very rude as you know I had lost weight which meant it needed taking in more. And the arms? Seriously, if you need someone to tell you how to alter a dress you shouldn’t be charging people money. And silly me thinking you would take pride in getting the dress right. I should have been suspicious when you asked for payment in full before doing anything. I can see now why you do that. If you thought the dress was too big to be altered to fit me why didn’t you say so instead of just taking my money? At the time I first brought it I still had time to find something else. Also, it fit fine at the bust as it was corseted and we could adjust that. It needed altering at the arms which you didn’t do. Now that I know you think it was too big to be taken in and you didn’t say anything I have changed to one star.New review: I wouldn’t use Timeline Alterations for any occasion wear again. Timeline alterations insists on payment at the time you leave the item so there is not much you can do if you’re not happy with the item, especially if you don’t get it back on time as I didn’t. If you need a wedding dress altering go to someone who specialises in it. I thought Timeline Alterations did but i was mistaken.

Response to tailor: I came in on Monday once. Other times I came during your advertised opening times. You did not inform me why you were closed or even responded to me when i said i rang you and txt you but you didnt reply. You blank faced snapped 'I have a life, i had to go out'. I have worked in retail for over 20 years now and out of courtesy 1st thing we do is apologize to the customer for the inconvenience then offer a reasonable explanation and a reassurance for future services. You need to develop some serious customer service skills. I'm not surprised by the lack of grace in your response and the lies. Disappointing experience from beginning to end, never to be repeated.Initial review : Tailoring skills good but Very poor customer service.I found the owner to be abrupt and bit rude.Took many visits to eventually get job done (couldnt find my items then not done then done incorrectly then shop closed Friday during opening hours, no reply on mobile or txt, when asked owner on final vist why shop was closed on Friday or why she didnt reply to call or txt she snapped rudely 'i have a life!' Will not be using her again!!!!

I had my wedding dress fitting booked in for April, it just needed taking up.. I went on the day to find the shop closed I phoned the shop and the mobile number provided and got no reply, I tried to contact them on WhatsApp and messenger but again got no reply. My wedding was in 2 weeks so you can imagine my panic. I know things happen out of our control but to not inform me and to ignore me knowing my wedding was in 2 weeks is disgusting if she didn't want the job she shouldn't of agreed to it.

This lady is a miracle worker. Transformed my daughter's prom dress (was a size too big from TKMaxx) into a fabulous flattering fit. Her attention to detail was second to none, the beautiful shape of the designer dress wasn't compromised in the least. Fabulous job. Highly recommended.

Just been in with my future daughter in law to collect her wedding gown which needed shortening. Good job done, photo to follow but only after the wedding!

I was recommended this shop by a friend. I live abroad and stay with my daughter in Pudsey when I'm back. I rang the shop on numerous occasions but that was only a voicemail which said calls couldn't be taken so to go to the shop. I got a taxi there as I needed a dress altering for a christening at the weekend, the shop was closed and there was no notice in the window to advice if when it would be open. Very disappointing

Just collected my altered clothing from Timeline. As always very professional and job very well done.Pay no attention to rotton reviews been using for years never ever disappointed.

Geraldine has done a fantastic job on my wedding dress. It looks absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend her. She is also altering my chief bridesmaid's dress. Thank you.

Had an evening dress turned up and what a fantastic job. Dress is now perfect. Can't wait to wear it. Lovely friendly lady too. Would recommend. Will definitely use timeline alterations again and will let my family and friends know about it too.
