Ordered 2 streaming encoders in Oct 2022 costing a little over £3k. Still waiting for refund or goods. Called many many times. Sometimes answered. E-mail many many many times, never answered. Always promised return call to resolve, never happened. This outfit are a total bunch of cowboys and I think I'm going to have to actually visit the shop to get any resolve. Avoid at all costs, it's not worth the hassle... use ProAV, CVP, BPS-TV, heck even Jessops or Currys. Just DO NOT buy from H Preston, worst customer service that I've ever encountered. I've been patient for 11 months. I recently purchased the Sony FX3 Kit from H. Preston Media, and I must say it was a fantastic deal. The price was great, and the overall experience was top-notch. I highly recommend them for their excellent products and customer service. Thanks

Updated: TV DID ARRIVE. Took 5 weeks, but got there in the endI think there may be some logistical/distribution issues at this company, as after ordering a TV online, it took 2 weeks to receive a shipped email - but no tracking details, and no TV. After numerous emails and calls, and writing a few online reviews, John did sort out delivery via amazon logistics, and was then in good contact with tracking etc. The TV thankfully did turn up, so it is a genuine company, and John was very apologetic about it all. Hopefully they can sort out the delivery side of their business, but at least i managed to read lots of books while waiting for my new TV.

Ordered an electric scooter, H Preston media kept in contact throughout. Slight problem with supply but was given other options immediately. Ended up getting a great deal on a better one.delivery was very fastCan't fault them!It was a pleasure doing business with them. Will definitely use again

I had the same experience as many people here of waiting many weeks for a delivery that never arrives with very little feedback or replies from my emails and phone calls. Then once I cancelled, after a few months, I had issues getting a refund and had to get a Section 75 order from my bank to get my £2k back as they couldn’t refund me directly due to issues with their credit company.

My advice is to AVOID this company.They state they are a dedicated supplier of high quality items and service. They constantly say they put their customers satisfaction first. This is not the case. Having placed an order over 18months ago for a Sony Camcorder I still have not received the item. Having contacted the shop by phone and email I have been constantly assured that my order is being worked on and that there were supply issues - which was true at the start but now the cameras are available at many suppliers. H Preston have taken my money - several Thousand Pounds but have yet to supply the Camera and lens ordered stating issues from Supply to health problems and issues with their bank. They supplied a USED second hand loan camera worth a lot less than the camera I ordered, to get me working as I had a client waiting for a shoot but it was not the camera I had promised, and my client were not overly happy.The customer service is basically non existent as the shop cannot make any decisions without referring back to John Preston and he will reply with a standard email stating they are working hard to get your order, or a story regarding they are having issues of some sortregarding their health, shop, or funds.I have offered many variations on how I would accept a refund, even in instalments in lieu of the camera but keep getting the standard sob story email.I have almost reached total frustration with this company and feel that people should be aware of the short comings of this company and be wary of ordering, especially at Christmas, where disappointment may reign.All in all this shop should be avoided at all costs. They take your money,and then go quiet. I get regular emails from their mailing list to say the camera I ordered is available but when pushed they always state it is not in stock - I advise you as a customer to not deal with these people and take your buisness to a reputable company elsewhere.These people STOLE my hard earned money and are avoiding any responsibility at rectifying the situation.

I run a small production company and was in desperate need of a high-quality camcorder. HPreston Media didn't disappoint. The camcorder I purchased has been a brilliant addition to my equipment. The quality of the video is top-notch, and it's been a great investment. The team was knowledgeable and guided me through the specs before I made the purchase. I'm definitely returning for more gear.
