Sophie has been supporting my son for several years now and it’s hard to put into words what a huge difference she has made in his life. My son has complex epilepsy which has caused him to have various learning difficulties and issues with his memory, amongst other things. School became a very unhappy place for him and he slipped further and further behind his peers. Since Sophie has been supporting him he has rediscovered a love of learning that he had completely lost. Her way of working is unique to each child and she has a way of tapping into their interests and sparking their enthusiasm that is rare to come across. Gradually my son has re-engaged with school and is far happier and more confident. We applied for an EHCP for my son, and with Sophie’s help were granted one. Her knowledge and understanding of SEN and education are outstanding and it has been amazing to have her support. Despite my son being vastly improved he still loves going to see Sophie - she has become a constant in his life and still helps with the things he struggles with, no matter what it may be - art, English, maths - she finds a way to help him!

Sophie has been amazing with our son. He has attended holiday activity sessions with her and Youth Group and she was so good with him. She has a great understanding of his needs already and we were so impressed with how well she handled any anxious behaviour. She is about to start some tutoring with him as well and her communication with us to find out more about him and his interests has been great. We would highly recommend her.

sophie has worked with all 3 of my children, she was able to see my daughters struggels and point us in the right dirrection as we were at a loss, she had weekly tutoring and sophie was amazing at supporting her in all areas, sophie went throw with us a parents EHCP application and was there every step of the way for not only my daughter but us as parents aswell, sophie was so kind and caring with my dughter who needed additional emotional support, sophie did extra research to help undertsand my daughters CFS.ME and metal health needs ( we didnt have to ask she did it and came back to us about it all) she did painting with my daughter to help her. My daughter attended many of her activities days. After a few, she had more confidence to move around and join in other things, My daughter grew so much under sophie. Both my sons had been to her activity days, which they both loved, they would chat the whole way home and so proud they could show off all they had achived, sophie taylors the activites around them, there needs and intrests. My son started to do tutoring with sophie after my daughter won her EHCP and is in an amazing school. My sons needs are very different to my daughter, sophie had started to work with him before lock down building a great trust with him and taking the time to listen to him, throw lock down she was still there online, which i didnt think was possible, she got him to engage, (school couldnt throw lock down) but she did and so well. Every week he shouts its a sophie day and soon after we were allowed to go back in person he was there, even when given the option about online or in person.over lock down soohie provided work and activity packs for all 3 of them, my daughter was to do with air crafts and cracking codes, sophie did some fantastic videos to help keep her intrested and smiling. my sons love the fact that sophie would comment on all the work they had done and she gave so much praise. I think i enojoyed it as much as they did and over such a hard time, they were smiling and having fun as children should. My other son has stuggled with being a young carer as well as his own emotions and sophie has been there for him, giving him time to do things he enjoys. We have had many activities packs from sophie over the summers which helped with getting the children out and about in the sun shine, and always so much fun. we mentioned that the we felt the youngest ( other son)may have dyslexia and she was able to offer so much support in the best way forward to support him.The children all love seeing sophie and the boys are always asking when the next activites days are.Sophie has been there with us throw the ups and downs, she is a fountain of knowledge and has been there supporting us in so many ways, she never judges and for me i think that was my worry, before we reached out for helped.Sophie has been there for all my family, me very much included and she comes highly recommend from all of us.
