Zoe has been helping both my children ( year 7 & 8). Zoe is an experienced tutor and has an excellent rapport with both my children ( year7 &year8). Even though they are only a few weeks with Zoe , they already are feeling confident and are using her support to help with exams preparation, school homework and creative enjoyment. This was immediately evident in recent exams results and when listening to discussions on a creative essay.

My daughter was very nervous about having tuition, but now actually enjoys it. She believes that it's helped her at school and has enabled her to feel more confident in her English lessons and understand in more detail what's required to answer an exam question.

Zoe supported me fantastically throughout my 1:1 tutoring, from tailoring classes to my needs, to helping me build my confidence. I would 100% recommend.

Absolutely excellent lessons! Zoe has been so patient and encouraging with my daughter. She helped her get through her SATs with ease and the confidence she has gained is incredible. Having Zoe as an English tutor has been a great help. She’s organised, came with a lesson plan of exactly what topics we need to get done and when and her lessons are always interesting. She doesn’t lecture you for the whole hour to boredom but instead challenges you to think for yourself whilst guiding you along the way, something you don’t always get in a classroom environment. This prepares you well for an exam situation where no teacher will be there with you to give analysis ideas, particularly with a subject like English. Zoe always shares helpful and detailed resources and of course tailors well to your specific needs. After having been turned down by many English lit a level tutors because of my retake situation, Zoe’s been so cooperative and willing to help ! Work is always marked on time before the next lesson so we can go over it on more detail . Response time is always quick. Overall, a lovely tutor :)

I would highly recommend Zoe, my son was really struggling with GCSE English Language and Literature, under Zoe’s guidance he became a lot more confident and achieved a much higher grade than expected.
