Beyond a joke! Tried booking a holiday with someone called Tracy who promised to get back to me the next morning with suggestions . Nothing by noon so called again but she was apparently on the 'phone. Called again at 2pm then left a message and again at 15:30 leaving another message. 4 calls chasing and not once response from a supposedly customer service focused company! After this kind of poor customer service you'd need a holiday to get over the stress of having to deal with them! Ended up speaking to Claudia and Renelle who were polite and bore the brunt of my frustrations but were unable to help as Tracy had all the information. On top of that I called two places directly- Viva Mayr Altrasses and Sha directly and got a much better deal!

I booked a surprise couples retreat for myself and my wife, I have never had to book anything like this before, so I didn't know what to expect. Christina made it very easy, from start to finish she took care of everything. She asked me what I wanted (all the romance but also some fitness sessions together and more than anything my wife wanted to escape the British summer and get some sunshine). So off to Portugal, Epic Sana, we went. I really enjoyed the Kaori Relax Massage, but my wife was really impressed with the Nutrition Workshop that was also included, we learnt so many things about food that we hadn't a clue about. Cant recommend Healing Holidays enough, Christina really cared about what we wanted to get out of our trip and my wife was very impressed. I may have led her to believe I was more involved in the booking process than I actually was.

I was recommended VANA in the foothills of the Himalayas. It was the perfect recommendation for me following a traumatic year. I had considered places in Sri Lanka from the HH website but when we spoke Frances directed me to VANA and she was absolutely right. For me it had the right combination of medical input from an Ayurvedic doctor who I saw 3 times, and total relaxation. Among other treatments and outings I had daily Ayurvedic, Tibetan or swedish massage.I loved the place itself - the design of the buildings, the layout of the grounds and the silence ... rarely interrupted and then only by gentle flute music or birdsong. I felt I had permission to take stock, step back and recover. I would highly recommend HH and Vana.

Good service

I decided this Christmas wasn't going to get me down, so I called Healing Holidays and Sonia recommended I book in for a pre-Christmas detox lasting 5 nights at Lefay Resort. Well! It did not disappoint. This isn't my first experience at a wellness retreat but this was my first in Italy. The food was sensational, with a Mediterranean feel. I especially enjoyed the 'do it yourself' juicing station, (the breakfast buffet looked superb but i was in detox mode and given a prescribed menu when I arrived). I even managed to walk past the bread and pastry room and instead, treated myself to fresh seafood on the deck later in the day - it was simply delicious. In my initial consultation I received an energy evaluation and as suspected, I had none! I then received a nutrition consultation and was prescribed a special diet. This really helped with my energy levels and is something I've brought home with me. I also received some energy reflexology treatments (my favourite) and some mud wraps. They do have plenty of signature massages to choose from and a really relaxing infinity pool. Now, I'm not a fan of the gym, but I wanted to get the most out of my stay, so I had a go at using some of the equipment. What i really appreciated was that there was a personal trainer there at the ready to answer any questions - I had more questions more than I thought I would. After all my treatments, dieting, relaxing and massages I had such a bounce in my step, but what I really love is that I still feel the benefits from my stay. I will definitely return. Healing Holidays and Lefay really helped me, I came back a few pounds lighter and full of energy to take on the silly season.

My wife and I recently returned from a holiday to SHA Wellness Clinic with Healing Holidays and everything was superb, all the arrangements were immaculate and Tracy our adviser was brilliant and had excellent knowledge of the area and resort. We would not hesitate to recommend Healing Holidays to our friends and cannot wait to book our next holiday with them.

Nice rooms, healthy air, healthy diet...

I have used Healing Holidays to book retreats on several occasion's.Frances Geoghegan always takes the time to discuss with me in detail my needs and goals to help select the correct retreat for me to visit. The preparation is very important so you instantly are able to understand your programme when you arrive. The Healing Holidays team are always on stand by when I am away for any changes I feel or they feel are necessary.I have recommended many friends and they have all had excellent help, advice and service.

Not very helpful if you have a last minute free time and you would like to book a retreat to de stress and recharge , not possible with them. Don’t even try, they can’t help.
