Poor (and weird service). We went to try some New Balance and Venj shoes for my wife. The assistant disappeared for a long time with the requested shoes only to come back with 1 shoe from each pair. So once my wife tried the one foot, we had to search for the assistant again to get the other foot' shoe. The assistant was nowehere to be found for more than 15 minutes. I then asked another assistant who came by and asked who's serving us". How do we know thr names of the assistant? It's not like they're introducing their names or wearing any name tags for customers to know their names! We've been to many (many) shoe shops and this Office shop is by the far the worst and strangest shoe shop. I don't recommend this place. Office should audit this branch and improve service levels as there are many assistants here but they don't seem to be trained."

Always expect to be greeted with friendly helpful service when shoe shopping in store. Unlike competitors, customers aren’t greeted when entering the store, which for me personally isn’t an issue, but the lack of acknowledgment is carried through the whole experience. You have to walk the entire length of the shop floor before reaching a member of staff, where you can find them congregated stood gossiping by the till. An inconvenience when approached, then may as well throw the shoes at you when finally brought out the stockroom. Zero communication when trying products on, the customer must then re-alert the staff if wanting to purchase. Multiple customers needing assistance while staff stand about with faces like slapped arses dishing out glares, awfully draining negative energy. Could hugely benefit from hiring some experienced staff rather than a bunch of disinterested tarted up college kids. Almost as though they’d dragged people in off Market Street, seemingly no manager present. If only what I wanted was stocked at Schuh, which despite only being down the road, is a complete world away, I’d have taken my business elsewhere. Avoid if possible.

I visited this store on 13/7/22. I wanted to try a couple of shoes so looked around to find a store assistant. There were 2 around and 1 standing at the till. The young girl with a blue top saw me raise hand to catch her attention but she pretended not to see me and looked away. Then she approached an English customer and served her. The guy at the till, presumably the manager, saw me looking for someone to help me, again tried to pretend that he didn't see me and just kept standing at the till. In the end, while the manager and the big lad assistant were chatting, I managed to flag down the lad's attention and had him serve me. The big lad was helpful.But the attitudes of the first two shop assistants (the young girl with a blue top and the presumable manager) were shocking. I was clearly seeking for assistance in choosing shoes, but they didn't want to know me, I'm guessing, because I'm not English. Really, those two, if they don't like customer service, they should seek another job.

Took forever to get shoes from the back, 1 guy chasing around doing the job of many. Girl on the front too busy moving shoes 2mm to be perfectly distanced on display whilst there’s a huge queue waiting for shoes instead of helping in the back.And to top it all off, wrong size shoe given despite being told it was a 10 at checkout

i went this shop bought a pair long boots after i paid . the manager said they hadn't got big bag for the boots, and then not do anything else. so i ask can you get a string or something to tight the box so i can carry it bit easy and he said no . Not even try to do anything , I'm so disappointed what kind service is this?

Worst customer service ever. I've been shopping in Office for over 14 years and I've never seen such poor customer service, specially from the cashier.

Esse, a wonderful sales assistant went over and above to find the right size , helped me with my disabled right foot and leg, even helping lace the boots up. I bought because of the service, although as I bought Doc's I could have bought from a number of places. Super happy with my purchase and the service

Today I bought my first pair of Converse trainers. I was served by a gentleman with glasses who happily served me and quickly brought out the two sizes I was looking for. I went to the till with the two pairs and he approached me and asked me which one I'll be taking. I took the size 4, over 3.5, and was served by a lady cashier. She seemed quite introverted, bless her. Customer service was overall great. I recommend for anyone interested in Converse. They also sell Air 1 Jordans, however there's only a limited stock. This was my first time purchasing from Office. :)

I’m so disappointed for assistant service. I ask them could you check my size for me but they just rudely say we don’t have this size. They didn’t go to stock room check it for me. I will never visit again.

brought a pair of 169.00 dr martens back, had them only 5 weeks but was ripped, faulty! cashier called a manager, who was extremely rude,she presummed i never had the card that i paid for the shoes with. wasnt actually bringing back for a refund only wanted an exchange but as she gave me no option and was so rude i ll take my custom elsewhere.
