Absolutely fantastic! We came on Sunday, and the lady who served us was amazing. I do believe that was the best pub experience I had in a long time, especially with the great service she gave us on Gins.Music & atmosphere were great too.

The Old Ship Inn
This is a really nice bar with well kept cask beer.There's a good, friendly atmosphere with music and sports on. Neither was overwhelming when I visited and that always makes for a better evening. The clientele were a mix of ages, mostly 30+. It was very relaxed and relaxing.Staff were excellent, service was quick and friendly. It has a really welcoming feel to it.I'd be more than happy to come back.

I was in town walking the dog when I passed and decided to pop in for a well deserved pint. I was met with a very friendly barmaid who listed the various lagers they had . I sat down in the very cosy bar and enjoyed my drink. The bar was quite busy for a Monday afternoon and it was a great atmosphere.

A traditional local pub, warm & friendly, welcoming visitors. Good beer and gin. A party atmosphere on Friday night after seeing a play at the theatre.Worth a visit or three.

Lovely unexpected find down a side street. Great friendly service, sat outside and we had 2 Neck Oils and 2 pints of pale ale which was excellently kept.Massive selection of spirits. Very impressive and great atmosphere both inside and in the front courtyard.
