Amazon drivers are the worst. 2 just this week alone have been coming flying in the street. Have kids around in the street they won't care till something happens. They Have no respect for your property or your cars all on cctv anyway if I could give 0 review I would.

As Flex driver I absolutely love this place- nice team of people, directing you to lanes and being helpful every time I arrive. Fair amount of parcels for 3/2.5h slots.

September 2023. I have 5 years experience with Amazon as a Delivery Associate and here are my findings. So you've responded to the advert and been called in. You've had the chat, everything sounds good and you are called in for a Drug & Alcohol test and then asked to come in for 2 days of training. The training gives you an (idea) of what to expect for example, the little van makes a delivery and then moves forward to the next address and so on, the happy illustrative person smiling away as she delivers happily but in reality you will deliver a parcel and the next address is behind you. The address after that is behind you (constantly reversing). You'l also deliver to number 53 in the morning and 55 (next door) in the evening. Why? You'l have businesses on a Sunday when the app clearly states the business is closed on a Sunday. Why?The app constantly crashes or freezes (good job i had 2 phones). The route sequencing is absolutely horrendous.Working out of 2,3,4 bags is utterly infuriating. The hierarchy within Amazon is as follows - Amazon - Agency (DSP) - Driver (DA).Amazon don't have anything to do with the drivers because if anything bad happened they have no legal obligations.Amazon hold ALL statistics on you as a driver and if you fall in the POOR category you can be off boarded and the reason is that as an Agency (DSP) Amazon demand that they hit for example 98.2% overall but if for example a DSP were to consistently fall below parr (97.1%) then they as an Agency can be removed as a whole by Amazon so NO drivers have any work which is why at the moment there is a lot of statistical manipulation of various timings shall we say.If an Agency can manipulate the timings it looks better on paper, a better presentation to Amazon meaning more contracts for routes BUT a much higher drop count for drivers (170+).For me personally it was the sheer abysmal route sequencing that drove me crazy. An appropriate record to soundtrack a courier position at Amazon would be the Vengaboys - Up & Down. Some would say - Modern Day Slavery.

So Ive started to do Amazon Flex for some extra cash, mainly do it in the evenings.I have been doing their deliveries for about 3 weeks (done 3 slots per week which were 3 hours each). It's not all rainbows and whistles. They pay you around £12 per hour. Now before starting your delivery you need to take into account of certain expenses first.First expense is you have to take out insurance for hire and reward which is more than conventional private car insurance.Second expense is fuel, if you're doing 3 hours then expect the fuel to be between £15-£20.On few occasions, the expectations to deliver 32 parcels within 3 hours can be a little unrealistic, I have found to have worked a further 20-30 minutes.I suppose if you have a hybrid vehicle then there is money to be made but so far I have made £174, this is after taking out my insurance and fuel expense. Note, the £173 would have been 27 hours which equates to £6.40.So, it's down whether you feel you time is worth it or whether it's a case of regardless of circumstances the case of how little money is better than nothing.

Rude yard Marshall's, constantly barking at me when I pick my routes. Today they left my cages outside while it was raining because I was picking up a rescue route. Most of the parcels were ruined and I had to still deliver them and ask every customer if they wanted to accept the parcels.

I delivered and collected to and from this depot for the first time and I think it’s a great depot apart from the cones in the yard, very OTT however, a nightmare to manoeuvre in the dark for HGV drivers, that is my only negative point. The most positive point however was I met a young female team leader called Jamielee and my word what a polite, helpful and wonderful future manager and human being you have on your hands, very professional in all aspects and articulate and works very hard and her colleagues admire and respect her from my observations. You must keep hold of that young lady at all costs!
