We visited TGI Fridays (Staines) on Tuesday 24th October 2023. We were treating our daughter for her birthday as it's her favourite restaurant. We waited 45 minutes before we got drinks & nearly 2 hours for food. It was clear that the location is drastically under staffed & there were issues in the kitchen. I wanted to bring to your attention the efforts from our Waiter (Mike H) that evening. He was trying his absolute best to cater for everyone while dealing with complaints from every table. He stayed upbeat and positive, very apologetic for issues clearly beyond his control. I really hope he is recognised for his work ethic during the most testing times in the waiting role! The food was actually quite good once it arrived but the wait times were unacceptable. In my opinion, the restaurant should not have opened, at very least, customers should have been warned of the issues on arrival.

I've been there at 8 pm on a Tuesday evening and after waiting for over 10 mins to be seated. No one came to get us seated. When we questioned the person behind the bar, we were told it would take over 1 hour for the food everywhere was nearly empty, and most tables still had food on it. Clearly under staffed.

Did not have any Ribs (classic or Ultimate) requested for meat sharing platter and asked what will be substituted for the ribs they agreed extra steak and wings, food came out missing grilled chicken and no substituted items as agreed. The full coat of the plate was over £33 complete rip off.On top of this, another steak brought out should have been medium cooked and was well done.Overall, poor service, restaurant was well under staffed and very inexperienced staff.When you are spending nearly £150 on lunch for 4 people, it's not unreasonable to expect a lot better service and value for your money.

Came in for lunch, was a bit quiet but that's expected for that time of the day. I would think it's quite lovely in the evening. Food was great as well as the service. I ordered the ribs for my main and was not disappointed. The sides it comes with were really great. I had my fill. The 2 for 1 cocktails are also a great reason to go there!

Absolutely delicious food cooked to the highest quality. The service and front of house staff were the friendliness I have ever met. Especially the Scottish one, I can't remember your name sorry. But her customer skills were superb!!

Went there for the ribs which were not available, so ended up getting a burger. Presentation was good, but thats was it.The burger itself was very dry the buns felt stale and dry".The only saving grace was our server

Went for my husband's 40th. It took the understaffed team 35 mins to ask us for our drinks order . It took us another 20 to get the drinks and a further 15 for our food order.30 mins later we got the food which was warm not hot but by this time we were starving.Toilets were filthy even though the posters say they do make sure they are cleaned regularly.I had the pork and I am now currently suffering with a bad case of food.poisioning . I have had to take the day off work as I've been throwing up most of the day with hot and cold flushes.Will never visit again!

Chloe in a black top was extremely rude when I questioned about how long my food would be, she replied “can you not see around us, we are very busy so please wait” and then walked away. This level of customer service from a successful business is not appropriate nor, professionall as all I had asked was for my food which we waited almost 35 minutes for.When I asked for her name she refused and mentioned she didn’t want to tell me and laughed off. I then had to escalate this matter to another team member who apologized for her behavior towards us for no reason at all and gave her name, she even replied “Chloe does get like this when under pressure and stressed out” but it is not fair as a family man to be treated like this infront of my kids.
