Kitty Catz Cattery & Boarding Kennels

Was very disappointed from the minute I bought my British shorthair cat in to this place. I normally take my cat to rhoden manor Cattery which was fully booked for the dates I required so I did some research and came across this place. As soon as I walked in it smelt of stale urine, the scratching post was falling apart, and all the owner kept saying to me was how rhoden manor wasn’t the one as it’s smaller and how they aren’t as good as kitty Katz. genuinely rhoden manor is the BEST Cattery going, they actually look after your cat and play with the cat and update you with videos and pictures. Besides that I walk in to pick my cat up today and I see that he’s got different biscuits in his bowl from what was given. I confronted the owner on why that is as I gave the correct portions to last him the length of stay and apparently he’s finished it all but why was I not notified that they will be feeding my cat something else yes I’ve stated he has no allergies but doesn’t mean it’s okay to feed him a different brand of food, he’s been to rhoden manor Cattery a few times now and I have never had to walk into him hiding in his carry case which was really upsetting to see as he’s such a fun playful cat.

So glad I found this place, Sarah was so welcoming and I felt at ease! I love that there’s a balcony area for each room so the cats can have fresh air too, will deffos use again!

We were a little apprehensive at leaving our two 15yr old Ragdoll cats in a cattery for the first time ever but Sarah was absolutely wonderful with them. She treated them as her own, spent time settling them in and sent photos and video updates so we knew they were ok. The facilities are excellent and extremely clean. Will definitely be using again and would highly recommend.

We have been using Kitty Catz for just over a year now, following a recommendation from a friend, and I can honestly say that I trust Sarah implicitly to provide the care and attention that I would want for my pet.Regardless of the time you visit, the place is always spotless. You can see inside the individual dwellings, and these too are always clean and tidy with full bowls and clean litter trays. The cats have ample space, their own private outdoor section, a run, plenty of toys, comfy bedding, and plenty of fuss and attention.We collected our cat today, and we had a hard time trying to get her to leave.I would happily recommend this place to anyone wanting a safe and clean space for their pets. I would also urge anyone to consider the malicious reviews left here for what they are: malicious and false.

I picked up my cat today after his first time staying at Kitty Katz Cattery and I could not be happier with the care he received. Even when I dropped him off I immediately felt comfortable as it’s clear that all the animals are well looked after and happy. The compartments are clean, bright, spacious and the staff are lovely and clearly care deeply about the animals in their care. Immediately booked him to stay again during my next getaway. Can’t recommend enough!

I contacted Kitty Catz Cattery to ask some questions about the cattery and they invited me to go and have a look around, which I really appreciated. Like Kitty Catz said to me, you wouldn’t send your child to a nursery without looking around it first - very good point. I was very impressed by the size of the cat ‘pods’ which were double the size of others I’ve seen. I was able to see the food they provide and I was told that, unless I wanted my cat to have specific food, I didn’t need to supply food - this was also a great bonus as I know other catteries ask for food to be supplied. The price was also very good compared to others and the opening times are much more convenient than others too. The lady (owner) spent a long time chatting with me and I felt very comfortable and confident that she’d take good care of my cat. When my husband and children dropped our cat off before our holiday, they came home and immediately said to me “the cat hotel lady is really nice”. My cat spent 12 days at Kitty Catz Cattery and I’m very happy with the service and our experience there. We loved seeing the videos on Facebook and via WhatsApp while we were away too.
