This food is beautiful. Scotch broth and such amazing bread to accompany it.I’m a strong believer if they can get the basics right the rest must be lovely too.This place is dog friendly ♥️

Harley's Bistro & Café Bar
First place we jumped in after getting off the bus from bowness and was pleasantly surprise. Delightful service, ordered two children’s meals along with clumberland ham sandwich and Greek salad and potato wedges… would recommend. If you have a four legged friend they seems to be recommended.

Brilliant cafe to visit if you're ever in Grasmere! Stumbled across Harley's and wasn't sure what to expect but really pleased we did! Staff were extremely helpful, and there was a great selection of tea/coffee, beers/wines/spirits, hot food and cake.They had the best selection of Gluten free cakes and puddings! The warmed up GF apple pie and ice-cream is excellent! Milkshakes looked great too!They're dog friendly, so make sure to pop in if you're passing!

I ordered Cumberland sausage bun/sandwich, all I got was some sausages cut in half and more dust in the bun than anything else a salad and crisps i didnt ask for. My coffee was passed between 3 people before getting to my table.The employee's stood behind the bar and watch you, while you ate it was really off putting, The kitchen staff were no better. It wasn't a very good first impression/ visit.

Just came in for a coffee, but returned an hour later and had lunch. Staff very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food was off the specials menu was delicious and very reasonably priced. It has a well stocked bar with a range of fraught beers. No need to look anywhere else!
