Absolutely nothing wrong with the food, just the portion sizes. We’ve been ordering from here for about 2 years at least and have noticed a massive decrease in the portion sizes in that time and a rise in cost. We have spent £80 here this week alone and its no where near worth that price for the portions you get. Also ordered creamy naga, which apparently you now have to pay extra for, got home and no creamy naga, shock! Tasty food but definitely need to put it on the back burner because of the cost unfortunately.

Managed to get here after seeing this on food review club, i got the mixed box, a proper banging smashed patty, paid extra for the lamb chops which were amazing, the guy on the counter asked how spicy for the kebab meat I let him choose and it was amazing !!! Add in some wings and nacho fries what’s not to like !! The service was great , I was asked if I had ordered which I hadn’t and realised is 100 percent the way to go, 20 min wait on the food because of that but that was fine as it was cooked fresh hot and so tasty ! Top job !!

They have gone from 3* hygiene to 2*. Just so disappointing as I went to Sunderland previously and it was so good. Here the food doesn't compare. And after seeing the hygiene report... I don't understand how they haven't sorted this out.3 star for everything except food as I can't comment much on those.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. Spice hut Newcastle may be the best house special box I’ve ever had in my life !! Just annoyed I had to share it. Everything about this fast food branch was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our greeter Saad was awesome, just want to finish of by saying if you want great food DON’T DELAY CALL SPICE HUT TODAY!!

I tried the recommendation of the chef called « House Special Box » it was delightful. The quality is really good, and the price also. If you like Indian food come, the pictures speak by themselves !!

- Not your average kebab shop…- Absolutely banging. Used to order collection but it’s on delivery sites now. On collection there can be a little wait (as on delivery) but nothing egregious.- the House special box with lamb chops at £19.49 is good value for money (especially with an UberEats code) as the quality is top tier and all parts complement each other so well. I think the price has been rising recently.- Smashburgers are phenomenal and better than most burger only type places.- the wings are meaty, grilled and flavoursome… ask them for mango flavoured wings for a nice surprise.- Lamb chops are usually juicy, tender, thick and huge (tbh they were a bit tougher than normal last order though).- donner and chicken kebab mix is tasty. Finished with spices and sauce, as opposed to just a traditional kebab.- the nacho cheese fries are decent.

This is apparently" a large donner (rest was salad I took the picture once I realised how thinnly laid out the food was) barley a few bites for a grown man and I paid £7.50 for the donner alone asside from the rest of my order. The strips are rubbish
