Hive Accommodation

Had a lovely experience living in a property managed by hive on West Walk. Had a few issues which were resolved quickly and professionally. Rhianne was extremely helpful on several occasions. There was only issue I had which I feel could be looked into as a potential of making these even more comfortable. During the summer months, the studio would become stifling hot despite having a fan and I found it very hard to cool down. With only one window that opened it didn't allow the room to the breathe or air to flow. Perhaps installing some kind of air conditioning or looking into having more than one window that can be opened in the studios would be an advantage but over all pleasant stay and really loved it and was actually sad to leave.

Robbed. This Accomodation have been avoiding my calls and emails after the landlord has tried to rob me and my flatmate of £250 each. He used pictures from a completely different accommodation and claimed it was ours and Hive sent it personally to me! You would have thought they would know their own properties?Well ever since I pointed that out I can no longer get through to them… robbing 2 university students who are already in debt. Good job guys. I expect to hear back soon (it’s already been 5 months!)

I have lived in one of the studio flats for nearly 2 years and I have been thoroughly satisfied. It would be unrealistic to assume nothing would ever go wrong but whenever there is an issue, communication between Lettings 4 Students and myself has always been fast, professional and positive. Whether I've contacted by phone or email, I am always responded to swiftly and the matters are dealt with within a reasonable time wherever possible with the staff always being kind and courteous.The flat was the best accommodation I viewed in the vicinity for size, facilities and space. The rent price is what you would expect for living very close to the city centre and University and for the size of the flat. I didn't even consider moving for my final year of studies, I definitely wanted to rebook the same accommodation as I enjoy living here.Overall, I would (and have) recommend Lettings 4 Students to anyone who is looking for a quality studio flat that is in a great location.

I have been living on 14 West Walk for the past year and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The studio flat is lovely and the service has been really good. The office always respond to any questions that I have and the maintenance team respond really fast. The building and area are really safe and close to the University of Leicester. Would recommend this company for any student living here and I am looking forward to staying at 14 West Walk for my final year at uni.

My recent experiences with Hive have been nothing but positive. In the lead up to me moving in, the team were responsive and helpful when dealing with all my requests about the property. They allowed for extra viewings and when I moved in the apartment was perfectly clean.Siam Dattani was especially helpful when an issue arose around direct debtis from my bank. Would highly recommend them!

I've lived at 18-20 Albion St and it was great. Staff in the office are helpful, maintenance are friendly and efficient. My studio had everything I needed and a little more compared to others agencies viewed similar properties with. Felt safe and secure which was a main priority. Highly recommend these guys for anyone looking to secure their accommodation.

They are by far the best letting agency I've been with for the 4 years I've been in Leicester, my old agency wasn't too polite and they would often do things that wasn't fair for us. Lettings 4 students have been the nicest and the lady who showed us around and told us about the West walk property was very nice.I would recommend this letting agency for any student moving into Leicester at any time, furthermore the people who work in the reception of my building are by far the nicest people I have met in Leicester.

I stayed in an apartment on my own close to the city center and close to both Uni's. The staff were ready to accommodate my needs for a smaller contract and were always readily available to talk to. I didn't have any maintenance issues other than a leak which was quickly fixed. Make sure you read your contract carefully and know what you're agreeing to, this is the adult world. A lot of the negative reviews come from a privileged position where the contract hasn't been read properly. If you read the contract, you'll know what to expect and can better manage your finances. The internet was really beneficial and you get a hub for your place, the speeds are great for streaming and gaming. Would recommend for anyone in their third year looking for a quiet space on their own!

All the staff are very polite and helpful. They are very fast responding to emails and fix any problems very promptly. Very good for students in both the University of Leicester and DeMontford. Rooms are clean, spacious, and very modern (with huge beds!). The service is amazing and the flats are very secure and you feel safe xx

This is my fourth year living in Leicester, and my first time with Lettings 4 Students. Lettings make everything easy! All the people that work for this company are polite, helpful, and reassuring. I have had experiences where my landlord would not respond to emails / phone calls / texts for a few days, whereas, lettings respond either on the day or the next day. As for the place I am currently renting, it is beautiful, spacious, and clean. If you are in a couple and are thinking of sharing a flat- do not hesitate there is plenty of room for two bodies! Overall would I recommend this company for student renting in Leicester? Absolutely!
