Did a 7 week course for my PTS because I was told there is 10's of thousands of vacancies in the rail, just to do less than 10 shifts in 6+ months despite asking for shifts often, they have since let me go because there aren't enough shifts""

Sheer waste of time, space and effort. I believe RSS to stand for Real Silly Shifts or something to that effect. Please dont get yourself roped into one of their 4 week courses doing PTS/ICI. It's a case of bums on seats. They are getting weighed in while you collect your universal credit. Getting shifts is an actual chore. They wont give you work unless you know someone within the company or you excel on your knees in the office
