I adopted my cat from here just over 14 years ago. Just had to have her put to sleep and am heartbroken, but wanted to say a big thank you" to HAWT as without them I wouldn't have had all my wonderful memories of my beautiful and beloved Cocoa.They've come a long way since I adopted and the place has had a lot of investment being transformed from wooden huts into purpose built pens for your future pets.One thing that hasn't changed though is the people who run the place. An incredible set up for animals that need support and rehoming.There's a brilliant team doing amazing work here and if you are looking for dogs or cats for your home, then make sure you come here. They are a very worthy cause!

Sorry but I was told within one week you will be giving an answer to adopt a dog by south cave.I haven’t received anything & left messages plus my phone number.All I want is to help a dog and feel more frustrated.Same as RSPCA found an older dog & told reserved & not if they don’t match we will contact you.If people are willing and you can visit our home etc. Why you not help the dogs to live there best life.

Lucky to have re homed a dog through Hull Animal Welfare. They have been brilliant. What a wonderful trust. Very friendly, caring staff and volunteers, would recommend 100%. If you are thinking of adopting use them.

Very happy with our kitten from Hull Animal Welfare Trust. We were given time to look and consider which pet would be best suited to us, and it was good to see that all the animals are cared for and looked after well. Highly recommended.

Sadly had to give up my best friend and dog Tyson due to at the time going through mental health issues. I handed him over to these charlatans ( I was informed at the time that they was a good charity). I asked them if they could keep me informed of his progress as he meant the world to me and was one of the hardest things I have ever done. They said they would keep me informed. The problems started when a couple of days later they put up a post saying he was abused and abandoned. He was not. After that. I phoned them to tell them that they were lying and I'll have my dog back as what they said was vile and untrue. I was informed that tyson was no longer with them. I thought they had an assessment period. They then ceased all contact with me. I later found out that he was used for breeding then abandoned. He was then put down. Basically they want money out of free dogs. They killed my best friend. Never trust them. Would give them a zero.
