Bit of a wait at the bar but good atmosphere for anyone going to a gig at the globe over the road. No food though

Meals are all made. From. Frozen meal was not hot enough. Potatoes was like dumpling mix. Just. Mixed with water. No butter or milk or cream to give it flavour. Very unpalatable left on my plate the only decent thing. On my. Plate was the steak and ale pie I could have bought one from shop and had snack in. Car ended up being poorly a!! Day. Sunday never left bathroom I can't blame anything else as that's all I had to. Eat on Saturday lunch could not face anything when got home. So went straight to bed bad. Experience. Won't be. Going there again

We stumbled across the Royal Oak whilst looking for somewhere to eat in Stockton-on-Tees. And weren't disappointed.The staff were excellent as was the food. It was well presented, very tasty and best of at a reasonable price. The drinks were great price as well. The staff went out of there way to go and look for a bottle of he wife's favourite tipple. Thank you.

Went to the royal oaks today for a quick brunch, Paul the chef absolutely amazing food the burgers were spot on. We were served by Sharron very friendly and good banter. Got a cheeky smile off Donna. All round good atmosphere. Our new date night pub x

A Great High Street Pub. A traditional Stockton Pub that has been a favorite for decades. Great beer and drinks and they even have board games to play. The food is reasonably priced too.

Had an unexpected evening out here and was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. We had 2 meals and about 3 drinks each. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me identify food that was my specific allergy safe which was excellent. The menu includes meat options but there is lots of vegetarian food on offer so we went vegetarian and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was served in good time and was hot and well presented. The food and drinks were well priced and service was excellent - fast and friendly. The pub itself in smart and very clean, the staff constantly clearing and cleaning. The location is ideal for the Globe theatre and the town centre shopping. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Went in tonight for a drink. Wanted a tea, and a bottle of wine, they don’t do hot drinks. Walked out. Not a nice atmosphere, full of old droogs.

We visited the Royal Oak just as a last minute duck in out of the rain, once in however we were surprised at the bar prices and the food. As a result of seeing others eating we decided to have some food,it was hot well presented and very tasty. Once we had eaten we of course needed to wash it down with another drink. The staff we're friendly, quick to serve. We will definitely return if in the area.
