Northern rail

Great journey down to Manchester from Durham with reserved seats 06.00 am oh wow return journey 18.30 train packed our reserved seating as well as others were free for all as were everyone else seats . We don’t do trains often but after this won’t be buying any more will take the car on journeys now poor service coming back to Durham ..over crowded trains kill.

today at piccadilly Station i quickly but politely asked a member of Northern rail staff, if this was the train for Salford, as it was due to leave. He didn't answer but rather blew the whistle loudly in my face! Would he have treated me differently if I was a middle aged lady and not a 19yr old male? Just rude and not the first time from these staff!

Why do you cancel so many trains, even when there are no strikes? Awful service. Sort yourselves out!

Tickets nearly double the price buying at the station instead of online.
