Gweek Classic Boatyard
We wended our way up the river from Helford not really knowing what to expect when we got there! We were in for a treat, Luke and all the folks from the boatyard couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Fascinating busy boatyard. We loved our overnight stay.

Gweek Classic Boatyard
Had a really great experience dealing with this boatyard.Bought our current boat here through the brokerage, and then spent a couple of months living on board while work was completed.The staff on the yard were really helpful, nothing was to much and dealt admirably with boat reno triumphs and issues. Very professional lots of knowledge shared.Also very happy with the work done by 1 of the shipwrights onsite, Sam Foster and his team did a really good job, exactly what we agreed, no hidden costs and in a timely fashion. Will be using again for some ongoing winter work.

Gweek Classic Boatyard
I just purchased my first boat which happened to be layed up at Gweek.I have nothing but praise for everyone that works there.All are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Me being a complete novice put them to the test many times.Special thanks to Tom Henderson and his son John. Both made my early learning days much easier.Also thank to Gemma in the office.I will be returning there for lay up at the end of the season.

Being new to boating and Helford River, I received so much help and advice from the Boatyard Team...... From the Owners, Boat Yardmen and Office Admin Team as well as the Boatyard Cafe, you couldn''t hope to meet a friendlier group of people.All this helped my decision to entrust my boat, Liselle, to their care over the winter.Easy access to my boat as well as the shop and services, all offered at Gweek makes this an affordable, pleasant and enjoyable experience.Special mention has to go to Dave Furness who takes an interest in all the boats and owners and has no hesitation in putting the customer first.

Gweek Classic Boatyard
Really good full English had here. They do a lovely cup of tea too! I visited on a sunny morning and sat outside on the quayside watching the tide go out. I did t try them, but their cakes looked great too. Will return!

Gweek Classic Boatyard
Very friendly, relaxed and lovely atmosphere. The staff were very helpful when I didn't have signal to phone for a taxi, they helped in phoning for a taxi and find one that was available. Beautiful place.

We visited the café, one of our favourite places. Great food, great setting and lovely people.Liked it so much that we decided to live there.Very busy at the boatyard, so many boats out of the water.

Gweek Classic Boatyard
This boatyard has recently changed hands the prices have gone through the roof being local and having used the yard for the last 20 years it's very disappointing as it's now unaffordable and I'm not on my own in saying that a lot of customers are not going back. This is what happens when greedy outsiders buy up facilities and then make it unaffordable for locals

Love gweek. Love the boatyard and the boatyard cafe. Lovely little village there is also Cornwall seal refuge is there also. My wife loved it.
