I am a relatively new patient to this practise- 6 months- and it is much better than my old one!The Drs are very helpful and will happily spend more than the allotted time if required. I've had no trouble getting an appointment- even if it is a 7pm call!.Reception staff are helpful and lovely and the practise nurse is very nice too. Genuinely happy with my choice of GP surgery.

The most rude GP iv ever been too. The reception is always rude. I kindly asked the receptionist with black hair and glasses on if I was able to take a pregnancy test and she was like “NO YOU GO OUT AND BUY ONE” in a very straight attitude with her eyes opened. Im sure she could have just kindly said no sorry we don’t offer pregnancy tests. It’s just heartbreaking to see people like that. First off what gp does not offer a pregnancy test? Aren’t they there to help see what’s wrong with patients? And second what if someone just couldn’t afford to buy one. I’m changing GP because of that receptionist. Also that GP is full of drunk loud patients makes me feel very uncomfortable. The doctors are nice though.

Excellent doctors practice, really helpful and pleasant receptionists. The only problem can be long waiting times, up to one month for face to face appointments with the doctors. .

Shocking harassment from the receptionist who called me today suffering from anxiety and depression I know I need to move surgery as I have moved house but the way she spoke to me was disgusting I will give you two weeks and I will just remove you from the register I said I have mental problems and she said well I don’t know if you have mabey she could look at the records absolutely disgusting and I will move asap I give this place a one only because I can’t give a zero a shame because the doctors are great they themselves should look at the rest it will cause them clients

This surgery has been the best I have ever been to (and I have been to a fair few in my time). The receptionists are very polite and helpful, even though it's apparent they have a very stressful job. I have seen people get stressed at them multiple times (unfairly), but when I have been distressed on the phone due to mental illness, they have been incredibly understanding. The doctors are wonderful. Dr Miller helped me pursue a complex mental health diagnosis and gave me the help and validation I needed in a dark time which saved my life. He is also very respectful of gender and a trans ally, working to help us with our issues.I have seen them less, but Dr Kiddie, Dr McInroy and Dr Robertson are also really great and thorough. The one doctor I would avoid is Dr Peluso, who had the dismissive attitude of many misogynistic doctors I have had. He told me my long covid was stress - it is a common problem to attribute issues to stress/mental illness to patients who present as women. He was smug and condescending. This is especially an issue since more senior doctors had already confirmed my condition. I did not register a formal complaint, but I hope this review gets to him and he learns from this.

Been with the practice for over 25yrs and have always said they are the best in Glasgow. Saw me through my teens, then when I had a baby. However over past few years it's been on a steady decline. Can't get through on the phone, can't get appointments for two weeks, rude and surly staff that are cheeky and won't admit when they make mistakes, even making up lies to hide their errors. Blaming the patients seems to be the norm now. It's a shame that management regard the way the practice is being run as acceptable.

I've been a member of this practise since it opened and was familiar with some of the doctors in the previous practise as a child, now as a parent myself I have stayed with this practise for my own medical care and that of my 3 children. In times of need, Lesley & the team of receptionists have went above and beyond the norm to help and support, most recently Claire who helped with an emergency situation & arranged additional support quickly - the job they do is always greatly appreciated by my family and I.Doctor Miller has been my children's doctor since birth and always makes the visits pleasant & enjoyable for the children even when they are really poorly, this makes all the difference. He is always helpful and informative too which is greatly appreciated as a new parent. As are doctors Kiddie & Van Den Hoven.Yes, human error mistakes do happen but in times of need before, during and following the pandemic, we've always been looked after and reassured by the at Main St. Thank you!
