Preordered food early, order was accepted and confirmed (several hours beforehand) resturant then decided to cancel my order half an hour before it was due to arrive. Very disappointed as the food is usually good. Dont confirm the order if you cant fulfill it and certainly dont cancel it at the last minute!

An excellent takeaway located at the Scotts Arms in Great Barr. Quality and quantity of the food was again very good. On this occasion we ordered Shislack Balti, butter chicken and Chicken Jalfrezi plus various sides. All were very tasty and piping hot. We had a wait of half hour, however it was Christmas Eve, they were exceptionally busy and explained the wait time at point of order so it was not an issue. We would definitely recommend.

The quality of food, customer service and timely delivery here is consistently excellent.In particular the Biryani and Nirmola dishes are of the highest and tastiest quality.A better Asian takeaway would be very hard to find.

First time ordering from Shika's and was thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious! The Naan breads were soft and fluffy, the chicken curry had generously-sized chunks of chicken and was accompanied by an ample amount of sauce. The chicken tikka was cooked to perfection, and the portion of chips was sizeable. The mint sauce provided was larger than what is typically offered which was nice. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and I will certainly be ordering from here again!

The other night I ordered myself special rice along with Garlic Fish Bhuna and it was unreal. The service was absolutely flawless. The food was very very delicious from every bite I had. Start to finish, it was a wonderful meal. I would definitely be going back next time and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves their Asian / Indian food!!

Honestly one of the best there is, never messed up my order in over 3 years, always nice and warm, great service overall. Only thing is the price, its slowly been creeping up this past year, the tikka masala use to be 7.25, now its up to 9.95 with 10.50 for the lamb, again, great portions but now its costing about 25 to feed 1 person, which is still good, but yeah just something to note, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and shikas is the best around!
