Ordered a burger and roast for delivery on Deliveroo. The burger was very nice and the roast was good too however the amount of chips with the burger was quite disappointing and had I not ordered an extra side (only to get free delivery) I wouldn't have been satisfied.

Staff friendly and helpful. Food from the carvery was nicely cooked and hot. My son had a pizza which he enjoyed as it was freshly cooked. I'm in a wheelchaur at the moment, there was plenty of room for me even though the restaurant was busy.

Poor carvery choice. Location did not plan in advance for large groups so only had Gammon avaliable. Could have told us this when ordering but did not do so. Hot inside pub on hot day no air con. Would not visit again.

Brought a party of 27 pensioners for a carvery. The food was amazing, the staff very helpful and friendly couldn't fault. They had been flooded so obviously no carpet as we entered not their fault. Will definitely go again.

Haven't been here in years, but it was always a decent meal. Has been redecorated and pizza oven added, along with a selection of dishes in addition to the usual carvery menu. We had carvery. Food was hot, good selection of meats and side dishes, good value for money. Options to go large" available. Staff were helpful and friendly

We had to wait a little bit for a table. Probably because it appeared to be in the middle if a refurbishment with carpets up and some areas blocked offThe food was tasty. I prefer fish but there wasn't any so ordered chicken as I can't eat gammon or beef, and i don't like turkey.£20, not bad for 2 carvery meals and a glass of wine.As stated earlier the carpets were removed and the floors were back to concrete with security tape. At the edges. One area up the stairs was blocked off.So even though it could have looked better it didn't stop us enjoying our meal. We never stay long, it's just a quick meal after a busy day for us.

Was quite disappointed with our recent visit to here. The building inside was very run down. Floors missing, cold feeling decor, damage everywhere. The food was OK. Not that warm and the veggies were a bit shriveled. Staff were friendly and helpful. Don't think we will be back

Staff very friendly, helpful and fully masked during this dreadful time. Food excellent as always. Nice outdoors area overlooking the nature reserve. Kid friendly and dogs allowed in garden too. Two drinks (pint of bitter and a latte), one traditional carvery and one large carvery £25. Very good value for money

The carvery was lovely all hot and cooked lovelythe kids chicken nuggets were absolutely solid & shrivelled and un edible you could smash the plate with them and same as the chicken sharer the chicken nuggets/dippers were solid and shriveled and unedible toowe did tell the young gentleman and he said he will let the chef know so we didn't eat it.It didn't help the chicken basket was sat on the side under a light for around 10 minutes before service was called but it's like they waited for the kids meal to come out to deliver both to table.I travelled from Wales for a family get together to be very disappointed and we made our way home we always come.here and it's been fine on other occasions but this occasion was awful

Never been before and would NEVER go back! We were seated in a half decorated place filler on the wall and scrambled egg on the wall that hadn’t been cleaned in so long it had left a grease stain around it. My husband wiped it off. Sticky tables half pub has no carpet. Desperate for a paint job and an Henry hoover. Carvery was at very best 1 star …. Awful
