I love to shop at the Durham Home Bargains store, its always so clean and the shelves are full. Staff are always very happy. I spoke to the lovely manager called sue today, just to say how fab her store is. I just hope she is going into the new shop when it opens She obviously does a fantastic job. Looking forward to the new store opening.

Must say a great big thank you to Emmie who helped me out with my trolly last night - she gave me a £1 coin out of her own pocket and told me to keep it. I didn't keep the £1 coin, but gave it to her supervisor and told him how this had made my day. Well done on employing amazing staff.

Great store, massive and a very good selection of products. It has a nice bakery stands, also a cafe. Staff are very friendly and professional.Car park has a 3 hour limit for those who wish to know.

What a shame miserable as sin staff have to spoil it! Just brought in a return whilst holding my baby and wasn't greeted, just instantly pressed the call button when she could see I had a return. Made me wait a ridiculous amount of time for a staff member to come back who, when they came, just said I could go! And in the intervening time i had to ask her whether to put my card on the reader as she certainly wasn't going to communicate with me! I appreciate it's Christmas and busy but a simple hello and a smile goes a long way. I won't come back if serving me is such an inconvenience. Shame as the shop is massive and does all sorts.

The staff helped me find all the things I needed and asked if there was anything else I needed help with. When going to the tills the woman serving was polite and made sure I found everything ok. Staff were friendly and lovely to talk to.
