Huckleberry Wedding Photography

What can we say?! Nick was absolutely amazing! He somehow managed to simultaneously be everyone’s friend, and slip away into the background unnoticed. He had everyone at ease and in excellent humour, and is a natural with kids, they loved him. Our own children have a habit of not looking themselves in photos and pulling faces, but he managed to capture the real personality of children and grown-ups alike. Nick is very open and straight forward to work with and offers a unique charm and feel with his photography, hard to put your finger on and so often missing in wedding photography. We are delighted with the results and our lasting memories of the day.

Nick did a wonderful job of capturing our wedding. We came away with some truly special photos of the people we love the most and will treasure them forever. He made the organising very easy and was great on the day, putting everyone at ease and bringing a lot of laughs to the whole experience! We managed to get married in the height of a heatwave but Nick was not phased at all. It was a joy to have him as a part of our day. We would recommend him to anyone!! Thank you, Nick!

We are so pleased that we booked Nick for our wedding. From the first time we met him we loved his relaxed manner. He put us at ease and helped us to plan the approach to photos that we wanted. On the day, he brought a sense of calm and the family loved him. Nick understood what we wanted and delivered photos we will cherish. We are so glad he was part of our day.

Can't recommend Nick highly enough! He was brilliant to deal with throughout a covid hit wedding planning process and captured our big day exactly as we had imagined it. Not only did he do an amazing job with the photos, he was also a calming (and entertaining) presence on the day, which we really appreciated - he was also a hit with our guests if the number of requests for his contact details were anything to go by!

A photographer pal was taking our wedding stills but so many folk who knew told us we also “needed” a video - and we’re so pleased we listened to them! Nick/Huckleberry is a preferred supplier on the Asylum Chapel website and his stills work looked fab. He was happy to talk to our photographer to ensure their working methods were compatible. Nick has an amazing ability to put people at ease and he “worked” the room in the most unobtrusive way, capturing all the joy, excitement, laughter and spontaneity of the day – totally naturally and unforced. The finished article – a seven minute video set to music – is a masterpiece of camerawork and editing (with a great choice of music!) and is an absolute joy to watch. Thanks Nick, you really completed our day!

We can't recommend Nick enough. From our first chat to talk about what we were hoping for, through to the delivery of the images, Nick has been warm, supportive and professional. Neither of us are big fans of having our photos taken, but Nick made us, and our guests, feel at ease all day. We now have the most gorgeous wedding photos we could have hoped for, which capture the feeling of the day perfectly. I can't stop looking at them! Nick organised the photo booth at our wedding. We wanted something different to the traditional cheesy props and to go more vanity fair. We were delighted with the shots and now have incredible professional portraits of all of our friends and relatives that will out live us all. Nick was fantastic throughout, putting everyone at ease and we had so many comments from our guests about how much fun they had. 11/10 Would recommend

We were very happy with Nick's photos of our wedding day. One of the things we really liked was his emphasis on trying to capture natural, spontaneous moments from throughout the day, and whilst we had asked for a few group shots he was also able to make many of these look natural. Nick also did a great job in terms of showing the venue in all of its glory. Our guests loved the photos and we have some great memories of the day to look back on too. We would highly recommend him.

Nick has just sent us our wedding photos and we are so pleased with them, he captured our day perfectly. He was lots of fun to have around without being intrusive and fit with the relaxed style of our day. Would definitely recommend! We really appreciated receiving the prints as well as the electronic files as we are the kind of people that would never get round to designing an album but at least we have something we can show people.Thanks again Nick!

There is no way Nick would deserve anything less than 5 stars. Having completely owned our wedding vision (no matter how flimsy we were!) from start to end, Nick has just produced one of the most amazing sets of photos from our wedding on the August Bank Holiday weekend. I've lost count of the amount of guests who commented on how friendly and professional Nick was throughout the day. He was a guest, a photographer and a friend all rolled in to one. At our meeting before the big day, Nick took copious amounts of notes on the photos we wanted, and he absolutely delivered in spades. We couldn't be happier with Nick as our photographer and would never think twice about recommending him!
