I have never actually been inside here but it's an impressive edifice from the outside. Dating from when Glasgow was an Industrial hub, deemed the second city of the Empire and the Clyde was its gateway. These days are long gone, the busy port superceded by the eponymous container, and the rise of the container ports, but this stunning building remains of a maybe a grander era
