Bought two of Hamley's own brand toys for my son while passing through St Pancras.Both broke while fitting batteries, before he could play with either.Poorly made, overpriced rubbish.

Went all the day this morning to return some items I bought yesterday. The guy at the counter said there were some net problems and could not do it. I asked if I could come back later and he said ,(made up an excuse) that he didnt think he would be able to do it. How can a play like Hamleys not being able to make returns more easy? I went all the way yo this store because it opens at 9 and I have to take a plane in a few hours.Very dissapointed that I have to keep the items I dont want.

Good toy store with a lot of really good presentations and selections of toys which are Legos, plushies, toy cars, drones and a lot more. It's really easy to go up and can provide a space between people when inside. The prices may look expensive but when you compare it to other places you understand that it's not that expensive.

Love it. Toy heaven. Best toy shop ive been. We spent nearly the whole day here. Its 4 or 5 floors big with kids being able to try out the toys or assistants demonstrating how to play with various toys. Kids will never want to come out of here, and theres something for every age and gender. You won't come out empty handed either especially after all the demonstrations, they really entice you into buying them without being forcefull just showing you how fun that specific toy can be.

Small selection of toys and products from this great institution toy store, but very limited selection. Handy though if you need to pick up a gift last minute for the little one on your travels.

Bought Percy The Splashing Penguin + batteries at Hamleys yesterday evening before taking my Eurostar train back to Paris..Today morning I had a shortlived moment with my daughter and Percy : Percy's boat did not work...Not nice Hamleys...I would have preferred a working toy that I knew my daughter would like as opposed to the discount (???)(Yes, we put the right batteries in the right place.Yes we tried it out in the bathtub (and out).No, I can't be bothered to look for the receipt or carry the penguins and their boat back to London...)

First time store had a problem and didn't know the prices of items sold in its own store. Sent home with all toys then caught in rain and was told that items wouldn't be returned as was wet. The customer service is non existent and on the phone is even worse.
