Family and dog friendly site, peaceful and tidy. Lovely owners! Brilliant for nature lovers. Would recommend!

We had the most amazing two weeks here. We stayed in our touring caravan on a beautiful spacious pitch. The showers and toilets were exceptionally clean and the whole site was extremely well maintained. Dog and kid friendly with plenty of space for the kids to play and a fabulous dog walk…especially in the evening as the sunsets are gorgeous! A huge thank you to Mark, Helen and Chris for being so accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to see you again next year!!

Very disappointed with this business ! Had another week end booked with this site, but kids have gone down with covid so I called up to see if we could move our week end to another week end or upgrade our camping pitch to a glamping pod for another week end and pay the additional amount, on a date convenient for themselves but the awkward man flatly refused, no sympathy or willingness to help nor no interest to give us another date! Last time I ever book with this site.

We stayed in our motor home with 2 dogs at walnut farm last week and had a lovely stay. The dog walk around the farm is absolutely lovely with a fabulous section along a very small part of the broads which was very picturesque. The site is very clean and tidy, we liked the area we picked to pitch up (number 15) as we were secluded away in a nice corner with loads of space between us and the other pitches.The shower and toilet facilities are basic and do the job but perhaps a little investment in these would really make this site 5 stars.We wanted to explore the beach and soon discovered that although there is not direct access from the site to the beach it could be reached through Waxham Sands holiday park which was a 15 minute walk from the site. You will have to walk on the road which will require some jumping in the grass verge when cars pass. We managed to reduce the amount of time walking on the road by using the dog walk leaving the farm in the direction of horsey and then joining the road at the crossing point of the farm walk- this reduced the time required on the road by half at least. When you get the beach you won’t be disappointed, the walk is worth it!Overall a lovely site and well worth a visit.In the last few years the site has added direct access to the beach so we have happily visited many more times and will continue to in the future, one of our favourites!

Beautiful campsite. Large level pitches, quiet site, with an easy 20min stroll across the dunes to the beach. Friendly staff. Amazing stars on a clear night.

Waxham and Horsey are my 'go to' spots for breaks away with the dogs.I have only recently stayed at Walnut Farm for a couple of short breaks within the last couple of months in a caravan and found it great for me. It is a compact, clean, well maintained site with level pitches and good domestic facilities.Dogs are allowed, subject to normal control conditions of course, and routes to the beach and the circular walk are close by and not (legitimately) accessible to the general public, so ideal if you have nervous or reactive dogs.On my recent stay after the Bank holiday weekend my Dad came up too, but stayed at East Cottage which he found very nice. It has quite a large enclosed garden so I was able to let the dogs free range while I was in the cottage with him.I was so impressed with the layout and facilities I have booked a short stay for three nights in my caravan after Christmas on one of the five winter hard standing pitches - looking forward to that. Never been away in the caravan for a winter break!All in all, a very nice, friendly, family run site with all the basic domestic facilities.... and a portal to get away for some real peace if you need to!Don't stress - well stocked convevience stores are less than 10 minutes drive away in Martham or Sea Palling.Happy camping!

Great site well spaced out from what we could see, as we stayed in the west cottage.Absolutely spot on, clean and dog friendly with a welcome pack including milk, tea, biscuits, dog treats, muesli plus more. Garden was ideal for our dogs. Beach was never overcrowded and again dog friendly. We really cannot fault walnut farm and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful getaway.Leaving this morning, clearing up first to reciprocate the clean conditions we encountered when we first arrived.Thanks to Walnut farm.

Mark and Helen were very welcoming and made a great first impression, site was well organised and spotless. Facilities are close to our pitch and the pitches were well spaced apart. Showers were excellent value and extremely clean. This was our first time here , We will be back later this year. Thanks for a lovely week away.

Had a lovely stay in our Motorhome. Good pitches, circular walk and easy walk to a dog friendly beach. Clean toilets, showers and facilities.

We love this area and have stayed at Walnut Farm at least 4 times a year over the past 4 years. The site is level, with good sized grass pitches with 16amp ehu. The site is also very quiet and the owners are very friendly. Dogs are welcome and there is a footpath to the beach (about 10 or 15 mins walk) directly from the site, also a 1.5 mile circular dog walk (that's a circular walk, not a walk for circular dogs!).
