Very thorough survey produced. Highly detailed and well written. Very quick turn around on report which was essential for my case. Photos used as well to further enhance the work. James was always contactable to answer questions and even gave advice regarding which type of tradesperson would be able to resolve issues highlighted. I now have an excellent understanding of my property and what steps I need to take to ensure it is looked after. Would highly recommend James.

I was looking for a survey as part of a home purchase and came across James as one of the quotes. He was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent service at a much lower cost to other firms that quoted me for the same survey.I ended up getting a level 3 survey as recommended by James due to the condition/age of the property which has flagged up some additional issues to look into. Couldn't ask for more! We had James come to do a Level 2 survey on the property we were purchasing and our experience with him has been fantastic. He took care of arranging a suitable time with the seller but kept us informed at every step. On the day of the survey he gave a call to let us know the headlines (and to put our minds at ease!) and then when we were given the report we were both incredibly impressed with the level of detail he had gone into. It was clear that he had done a very thorough job, the report was easy to understand in terms of the language used and the pictures he had added in of specific areas really helped to visualise what he was referring to in an unfamiliar space. I called him a few days after the report to check on one of the issues he had raised and he was incredible kind with his time and clearly has a fantastic knowledge in the area. We are so glad to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation!

I recently had a Level 3 Building Survey carried out on a property I wanted to buy and found JDM surveyors online.Being a nervous buyer, I sent James a long list of things to check in the house during the survey (some ridiculous tbh) but he didn't mind one bit. JDM Surveyors made the process of working out the best survey for our needs quick and simple. From the first phone call with James, he was extremely knowledgeable and easy to speak to about our concerns. James was quick to respond to emails and personable. The post-survey call to outline James's main findings at the property was excellent and allowed us time to discuss different options to rectify issues. James was very generous with his time. The full survey report has a traffic light system which makes it easy to understand the immediate to longer term things to address. I have no hesitation in recommending James. I enquired for a quote which he provided immediately, and I confirmed I would like to go ahead. The survey was done the following week with the report being provided that same week.
