I came here with a few friends and had such an amazing time, the views from the campsite were beautiful and the owner was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We camped here for one night as we walked the South Downs Way in July. We are so pleased we found it - it was a very special place, being cared for with a great deal of thought. That one night has really made an impression on us.The tent pitches were cut into the long grass, creating a secluded and private feel with the romance of the beautiful long grass. The pitch was large with a firepit. It was a beautiful and calming setting (road noise really was present but not a concern at all. It faded into the background within the calming landscape). The composting toilets were fab - very clean and didn't even smell (!??). The swallow nest really made it. (They have also left me thinking a lot about how we all 'pollute' water on a day to day basis ... I want a composting loo at home!)A bucket with essential oils in, beautifully hot water and a big flannel (provided) completely eradicated the need of a power shower. It was the cleanest we had felt all week. (Again, this has made us think more about how we use water, and we have actually started 'showering' like this at home. We're saving so much water and are able to use the remaining water on flowers or on toilet flushing). We had bought the dinner and breakfast packs, which provided AMPLE food for our 18-20 mile days. Delicious, veg-laden daal, lots of fresh fruit, and porridge in a paper bag with nuts and oat milk for breakfast really helped us on the way.We watched a *beautiful* sunset over the hill and had several interesting conversations with Beki. She is really caring for this place, for its resources, and for the people who visit. She is an inspirational lady.We can't thank you enough - not only for a lovely restful stay, but also for the thoughts and actions we have taken away with us.Lots of love, Rosalind and Seb x

We stayed at this campsite for a night, it was amazing! The scenery is beautiful! Each of the pitches are surrounded with long grass which gives a really lovely private feel! The staff members are lovely and were really helpful when I asked questions! The facilities are great and super clean! Really nice and peaceful campsite, we will definitely be returning!

Our family spent a wonderful 3 nights with Becky over at Chantry Farm / Wolstonbury Dreaming. Arriving to such a well kept campsite was a complete joy, especially as we had spent a few nights at a very poorly kept campsite the previous week. The site is very easy to find and allowed us to spend fun days in Brighton and the surrounding areas. The camp pitch itself was very well kept and featured chairs, benches and a fire pit. Even when it rained on our last night we had a great time watching the fire roar from the comfort of our tent.Becky was the perfect host, very friendly and a hive of useful information to enhance our stay! We'll be back!

I stayed at Chantry Farm with a friend and our 2 children as part of our South Downs Way walk. The farm and the shepherds hut's were an idyllic, peaceful, off grid place to stay and spend time getting back to basics and nature. Our host Beki was lovely and her story on how she came to start the farm and campsite is fascinating :-) If you are planning a staying in the area or doing SDW then highly recommended!

This is a gem! We stayed in a beautiful shepherd's hut after a day walking the south downs way and it was perfect. A secluded, rustic site but with creature comforts including hot water, phone charging, and a delicious fresh easy-cook meal waiting for us! Would highly recommend

I think what makes this campsite feel special is how much Beki cares. Each pitch is well maintained and there's plenty of space to call your own. This is the most eco-friendly campsite i've ever been to and is an incredibly relaxing environment to be in. The water supply comes directly from the ground and is heated up through the solar panels. For those who are wary of composting toilets and bucket showers, I urge you to consider getting out of your comfort zone and experience something different, as this campsite is really worth it. Thanks for everything Beki, (also it was lovely to meet you Bjorn and Caroline) :).

Delightful campsite with beautiful views and decent facilities. Such a good find away from the busier South Downs Way.The pitches are huge, complete with a fire pit and wood to buy. Beki was a kind, helpful host offering us an easy camp-cook dinner and breakfast. Good, clean facilities.

I have stayed at the farm twice now and intend to go again, because I am in love with the landscape and have been well looked after by the gracious host. She was friendly and helpful to me and my friends from the first to the last moment with her and the site itself is stunning and peaceful. Can't recommend this place enough.
