Huntlands Farm Bed and Breakfast & Upholstery

We stayed at Huntlands Farm for 2 nights recently. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Lucy who showed us around the house and to our room. We stayed in the Georgian Suite which was enormous and had two large rooms - a bathroom with a large freestanding bath, twin sinks and a lovely rainfall shower. The bedroom contained an extremely comfortable four-poster bed and a sofa, rocking chairs, wardrobes, etc. The view from the window was spectacular, overlooking the surrounding farmland and orchards. We had an excellent evening meal expertly cooked by Stephen. Breakfast was amazing, cereals, yogurts, fresh orange juice, fruits and a variety of cooked breakfasts were on offer - the eggs were freshly laid with really golden yolks!Everything was spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed our stay. We are definitely planning to stay there again in the future.

Stayed over at Huntlands a couple of nights whilst doing Lucy’s week long upholstery course. My room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and all I needed for a restful night after a long day working on my project. Although I didn’t have an en suite room, I had sole use of the shower room across the hall which was adequate for my needs. Breakfast and my evening meal were tasty and arrived piping hot…I’m not a lover of eggs, but Huntlands’, produced by their own hens, tasted amazingly fresh. Lucy and Steven are unfussy welcoming hosts, and I would highly recommend Huntlands.

I attended a weekend upholstery course, including an overnight stay. The course with Lucy was fun, I was a complete beginner and managed to complete my project with lots of patient guidance.The setting of the farm and B&B is stunning and Lucy & Stephen are great hosts. They are very friendly and relaxed and they include those extra little touches that make a difference - fridge in the room with fresh milk & a bottle of tap water, lovely toiletries in the bathroom, and a comfy bed. We had dinner and breakfast there (and lunch that was included with the course) and they checked dietary requirements beforehand and made something to suit everyone. Breakfast has lots of options that you can choose from the night before and the eggs, bacon and sausages from the farm were especially good.Thanks to you both for a lovely stay and a really interesting way to spend the weekend.

I was at Huntlands for a week long upholstery course and living locally didn't stay at the b&b. The course was fantastic and despite being a complete novice I was able to take home a completely reupholstered chair I was proud of. Lucy is very knowledgeable and gives instruction in a calm manner leaving you to progress at your own pace. When required she will step in and help. We were well looked after with drinks, lunch and homemade cake and the whole experience was a joy. I thoroughly recommend this as a way to spend a week Already can’t wait to do another project! We were attending a family wedding and Huntlands was a short taxi ride away. When we arrived we were amazed by the location, so picturesque. We were greeted by Walter, the donkey immediately!!We were taken to our room where once again we were amazed - so spacious and clean.The bridal party stayed with us the night before so we had a chance to see all the rooms and any room we had chosen would not have disappointed.Breakfast on both days was delicious.We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable - would highly recommend!!

Well, what can I say. Fiona and I stayed for two nights in order to visit the RHS flower show, initially on a b and b basis but opted to have our evening meal there as well. We were looked after by the hosts Lucy and Steve aided and abetted by Sam on the first night. This is a working farm in a beautiful rural location. We had a blissful stay. Welcomed warmly by Lucy as we arrived and shown to a fabulous room with the most enormous bed which was so comfortable we plotted ways to sneak it out of the house and into the car to take home. Beautifully appointed, the room was warm with tons of space for unpacking stuff into. Breakfast was brilliant using local produce including eggs from the chickens that roam around the farm and jam made from plums and fruit grown on the farm. The evening meal certainly did not disappoint. Cooked on an Aga by Steve. They have brilliant wine and make their own cider from apples grown on the farm. The whole stay was very relaxing, and Lucy and Steve were brilliant hosts. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay when you are in the area, look no further. I have no hesitation in recommending, you will not be disappointed.

I attended a five day upholstery course. Lucy is a very patient, knowledgeable teacher.I live locally so didnt stay at the farm. A delicious lunch is provided each day of the course, served in the lovely dinning room in the main house. We also had home made cake each afternoon.Fabulous facilities, wonderful location and superb hosts, thank you!

Stayed 2 days, for a wedding nearby.Rooms are amazing!We had cooked breakfast and evening meal - food was brilliant!You must meet Walter the Donkey!

I enjoyed a wonderful week at Huntlands; a beautiful and spacious suite with lovely views of the farm and the rolling hills of Herefordshire. I loved exploring the area which was new to me, the amazing food, and the warmth of the welcome from Lucy and Stephen.

I spent a week at Huntlands Farm doing an Upholstery Course with Lucy. It was excellent as I learned new skills with Lucy and ate delicious meals made by Stephen! Pretty perfect really!!!Thank you to you both. I would recommend this course and location to anyone. The absolute bonus, of course, is that the chair I worked on, (a sad, broken piece of furniture at the start of the week) now looks wonderful!! Thank you so much both of you (and Anne for the yummy cakes at tea time!)
