Clara's Cottage

We had such a wonderful stay at Clara’s Cottage. The place was so lovely and it just oozed charm as soon as you walked in, with some local eggs and other goodies already there to welcome us! The beds were super comfy and the fire was so inviting, particularly when coming in from a walk in the cold! The cottage has all you could possibly need in terms of facilities and equipment, whilst being authentic and sympathetic to its original design. Catherine has provided lots of really useful information about local places for food, places to explore within the lovely Yorkshire Wolds and also an interesting history of the cottage. Would definitely recommend Clara’s Cottage to anybody who wants an idyllic break in the Yorkshire Wolds. Catherine has lovingly provided a real ‘home from home’ and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Clara’s cottage is an absolutely ideal getaway! The area is so calm and neighbours friendly, the garden is gorgeous and the cottage itself is enchanting. Catherine is the perfect host, always responsive and considerate of everything. Whether you’re lapping in the sun in the beautiful garden or cosying up in the living room and watching the rain, the cottage has a way of making everything feel just right. 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely visit again. Clara's is a very cosy and comfortable cottage, equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing break in the Yorkshire Wolds. We felt very much at home from our arrival with the lovely welcome pack to the information book on local places of interest and the log burner! The cottage is in a very peaceful location with opportunities to visit the coast, historic market towns, stately homes and wonderful walks. We have never slept more soundly with the quietness, no light pollution and very comfortable beds and returned home truly refreshed and invigorated. Thank you Catherine!

We have just got back from a wonderful week at Clara's Cottage, it is the most beautiful and charming place you could ever stay in. Catherine has thought of everything you could possibly need, just pack your clothes and go. I can guarantee you will get back from your holiday completely relaxed. I cannot wait to return I have fallen in love with Clara's and the gorgeous Yorkshire Wolds.

Perfect location to explore the Yorkshire Wolds & the East Coast.Clara’s is charming, immaculate and a delight to stay in. The bed’s are really comfy with top quality Egyptian cotton bedding. The log burner is a real treat for settling down after a day out exploring. Very safe enclosed garden for dogs or children. Lovely dog walk just across the lane. The scenery is amazing you could be in a David Hockney painting! Catherine, the host has thought of everything so the cottage is a home from home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've stayed at Clara's three times now, each time we fall a little more in love with this wonderful cottage. Deceptively spacious, the little cottage that you see from the front has two spacious double bedrooms as well as a single. With a large and so well equipped kitchen, dining room, and the snug with its log burner, there's plenty of space to go around. We love the garden and summer house too, just the place to relax with a G&T after a day of exploring the Yorkshire countryside and coast.You can see how much Catherine loves Clara's by the thought that has gone into making everything so perfect, and all the lovely little touches that make your stay that bit more special. As well, of course, as the welcome pack of Yorkshire goodies!Many thanks Catherine, can't wait till our next visit!

We had a great time in this cosy and characterful cottage. The rooms were immaculate and we enjoyed the garden too - not least the summerhouse for our evening drink.It is a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds and just walking in the open countryside.

We have just got back from a Wonderful weekend with our two Grandsons. They really enjoyed 'the secret little house' in the back bedroom and the magic bubbles bath. Beautiful cosy & warm cottage, just like 'going back to stay with Grandma'. The cottage is short of nothing and the garden is secure for little people and dog. Good base to visit various places, we did Filey, Malton & Pickering.

My daughter, dog and I enjoyed a wonderful half term break at Clara's. Made perfect by the weather. We were able to take full advantage of the pretty garden and summerhouse, spending many an afternoon listening to the birds. There were some thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack and fresh wild flowers dotted around the cottage.Lovely walks nearby and plenty close by to venture off if one likes.Catherine was very responsive and helpful, a pleasure to book with.We certainly hope it wasn't our last visit!

My first visit to the beautiful Yorkshire wolds and stayed at Clara's cottage West Lutton. I went for a total chill from everyday life and as soon as there I wasnt disappointed! A picture post card cottage and village. The cottage has a tiny stream outside and a lovely enclosed garden. Stepping through the door you can tell its been filled with love, lots of personal touchs and the history of the cottage makes it extra special. It had everything in such a short distance, beach and beautiful countryside. Highly recommend!
