Harvie and Hudson

Went to the shop last weekend. There was this person that was being super nice to his customers. When it was my turn, I asked to try a shirt and he just told me this model won't fit you" and did not offer to show me any other models. He turned around and continued to be super attentive with his other customers. Maybe he did not like the way I was dressed (puffer jacket and sneakers) or just wasn't interested in selling me something. Anyway

I have visited Harvie and Hudson several times and popped in again today for a new blazer. The staff are always friendly. To be honest, I don't simply view them as staff. They are actually a body of knowledge of British heritage.It is my honour to have had a little conversation with the owner. We talked about the possibility of expanding the range of target consumers of this family business making it slightly younger.My thought is that No need to deliberately design something for the younger as this may lead to too much extra cost, but simply make the size of the existing garments more inclusive by adding smaller size and a slim fit style.

The range is superb and the H&H shirts are particularly great value for their outstanding quality.Martin provided first-class service and gave great advice for multiple items, including trouser alterations. These were done exactly as desired and picked up only a few days later.Highly recommended.

A favourite shop of mine. So many lovely clothes. Today just a new flat cap, boring but vital when a bit cooler and wet. Good variety and right size.Served by the Managing Director no less. Great to see him on the shop floor.

Mark was extremely friendly and had an uplifting mood with plenty of solid advice. At no time was I made to rush or make any purchase. Nothing was too much hassle such as trying on multiple shirt sizes or asking for feedback on fit. A true traditional browsing experience with plenty of helpful tips and an impressive collection of items. Quality of items seems high and I look forward to returning. Mark went above by helping me colour coordinate the items I was looking for and he event went beyond and helped me tie my tie for a wedding I was attending! Thanks very much for a pleasant experience

just tried on my new shirt I bought from Harvey and HudsonIts beautiful. REALLY LOVE ITThe fabric is superb. brushed cotton I thinkThey even shortened the sleeves for me same dayreally really happy and 100% great experienceOnly problem now is I'm going to have but 2 more from themand throw out some old onesA genuine Jermyn street shop with genuine polite friendly helpful staff (lovely people ) selling genuine clothingat really reasonable prices considering way above average quality

A pompous and arrogant staff culture with shocking quality clothing and horrendous customer service.I purchased a Dress Shirt and Studs for £155 (expensive but I though it would be good quality / value) before Christmas. The studs broke whilst I was at a black tie event, and I couldn't even wear the shirt as the sleeves were way too long. Despite advice in the store it would be fine.My other half went to return the never worn shirt, and was met with nothing but contempt by the 3 men in the store. '- You want to return the shirt unfolded',- 'ergh, I can't even find the card number on the receipt',- 'its a £15 processing fee without the button ribbon.'Photo of the snapped stud.Avoid at all costs, and go to any other tailor.

I have just invested in a new dinner suit at Harvie and Hudson after my much loved 35-year old item had shrunk to the point of discomfort, as they do. Richard did a super job of getting to know my requirements and preferences, talk through the options and then take enormous care to make sure I had the right fit. He also went the extra mile to turn around the alterations in just a few hours so I could wear it the same evening. Excellent service from a lovely team. Thank you all. I’ll be back soon!

Ordered a yellow dress shirt recently and the quality is below average. The cuffs are too tight, the fabric wrinkles with incredible ease, and the cut is off. Customer service has been slow to respond to my requests to return -- I'm told that there's a repacking fee" if you want to return the shirt and you don't have the original packaging. Horrible & Hollow."

Great customer service. I have brought many ties from HH and the quality is by far the best of all the mens stores within the Jermyn Street area. Shirts and blazers are fantastic too. The shop is laid out really well and the windows look great.
