We were referred to Veterinary Vision from White Cross Vets in Coulby Newham. Our Lhasa Apso had an ulcer that didn't appear to be healing after three days of drops. They managed to fit us in for their out of hours service, so we drove an hour and a half straight from our vets near Middlesbrough to here.When we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The vet, Chris, was also fantastic. He did a thorough examination of our dog's eye, explained very clearly what was happening by drawing out a diagram for us, and then giving us the options.They recommended two different treatments, one was significantly more costly than the other, but the staff did not try to influence us either way. We were ready to go with the more expensive option, but after the vet explaining the risks we decided to go for the cheaper option that still had a good chance of success.Although the experience itself was stressful, it was made a lot more manageable thanks to the professionalism of all of the staff here. We were told we could go to Sunderland for our follow-up appointment which is closer to where we live, but we will gladly make this longer journey again as we were so happy with the service and the people at the Penrith branch. Really recommend.

We were referred here by our local vet to have a specialist examine our dog's eyesight, which appears to be deteriorating. We obtained an appointment quickly (phoned Monday, seen Thursday). The office is large, modern and airy. We were seen by an excellent specialist vet and two others in the team. Every test possible was undertaken.Our only regret was having to twice chase up the email detailing terms and conditions which eventually arrived on the morning of the appointment.

Referred by my vet as my greyhound had an ulcer on her right eye.Thoroughly professional experience, excellent staffing levels and comfortable and welcoming building. Easy to find as directions included with fact sheets and information. The diagnosis, the medication and treatment, all explained, and our beautiful pet was at ease throughout the process. As is usual in these cases, not cheap (thank goodness for insurance) but well worth every penny.Thanks to all the staff.

Bluey was admitted for a referral his eye was swollen the pressure was very high and after a good discussion we agreed for blueys health and comfort to have his eye removed he was treated with such compassion and so much fuss it made us feel relaxed even though Bluey was nervous he behaved like a true gentleman lol many thanks to you all

We had lily there for an emergency appointment Easter weekend , they are always fab ,lovely staff and they are fabulous with lily ,they make sure your happy with treatment ,explain everything and very compassionate

The care and professionalism of this place starts with their reception / admin team, and goes all the way through to the nursing and veterinary team. From start to finish of a very worrying time, including aftercare, they showed empathy, honesty and exemplary care to me and my Golden Retriever Oscar. I cannot reccommend them highly enough.

Two visits to our vet before we were referred which was frustrating but once here we received excellent customer care and service. Reassuring and informative in layman's terms for the best care for our senior dogs vision.

Excellent service and care. Very knowledgeable and excellent communication style. Although not the news we were hoping for the delivery of the news was very caring and respectful. I would definitely recommend if your dog has eye problems.Very easy to find just two minutes of the motorway with great parking in a lovely modern building.
