Barton Broad Boardwalk
An interesting wildlife area of the broads with a circular boardwalk so ideal for all. We took children aged 3 and 5 who were fascinated to search for bugs in the foliage and all types of water loving birds on the broad. There is a car park with toilets a 10 minute walk from the site itself but you do have to use a short stretch of single track road. An educational and pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Stumbled up this little gem. The car park is in need of clearer signage. The boardwalk itself is lovely. My first time seeing kingfishers and otters. We ended up coming back here several times over our holiday.

A delightful boardwalk, took us around 45 minutes from the car park to complete including a stop off at the viewing gallery to see what birds we could spot. Saw plenty of wildlife on the boardwalk itself so was definitely worth the visit!

Satnav took me to the disabled car park, but main car park is not far & sign posted, toilets there also, really nice walk with great views. My toddlers loved it.

Nice little walk, accessible to all (including braille info plaques), and a spot perfect for wheelchairs to get access to the edge of the water without bashing feet/legs. Whole boardwalk is incredibly well thought-out and designed. Saw much wildlife from small insects to several large swans and cormorants on the broad itself.

Lovely and peaceful, however difficult to get to especially with children as the car park is only for those with a disabled badge

It's a nice part of the world. The car park is not well signposted so in the village go slowly and you will see it OK. I ended up in the disabled park and had to retrace my steps back to the main park. The walk and the boardwalk is really nice but rather short so it's great if you want a nice walk before lunch. The view from the platform overlooking Barton Broad is very nice but not the best for birdwatching, it's more a place to watch the boats going past.Toilets in the CP are very well maintained.

Looks wonderful in the photos ...except this tiny little sign... such a pity, I was looking forward to visiting here....
