Nova Prestatyn

I’ve been taking my baby swimming lessons here since she was four months old (minimum age) and they are just fantastic. She now loves the water. Bath, shower, sea paddling pool. She loves to splash and never has any issues with water splashing her face. It improved her motor skills and she loves the instructor.I’ve also taken her to soft play here (she’s eight months) and it’s nice there’s a separate baby/toddler bit. However, a four year old boy was picking on her last week. (If she crawled over to a toy he would pick it up and throw it away from her, kept calling her names etc) so it would be nice if staff were around to ensure older children were not permitted in this area or stopped this behaviour from happening. Couldn’t find the parents.We’ve had food from their cafe and I wouldn’t rate it. The Costa coffee is okay.

Plenty of food and drink options in the restaurant, a big gym for those who want to work out, a swimming pool for people to enjoy and also a beautiful view of central beach plus a beautiful long stretch of beach leading to Gronant with a perfect view of the Gronant dunes

The beach side cafe is pleasant enough, nicely presented and the staff are friendly, but somewhat unmotivated.The food is average mass catering type fayre. Think pizza, chips, burgers etc, not top quality, but not unpleasant.The issue with the cafe is the service process, it's incredibly poorly managed. The staff themselves tend to be younger people, probably earning themselves some money during school, college etc and fair play to them. But, whoever is managing this place needs to sort themselves out. Twenty-five minute waits, not to receive food, but to queue to order the food, is just ridiculous.The staff are simply not deployed properly. One young man taking ALL the orders, making up all the soft drinks AND serving them to the tables while four other employees wander around, seemingly aimlessly, collecting the odd piece of used crockery is just silly.Oh,and given the average food quality, it's definitely not cheap.

We visited Nova for the soft play, which was fantastic. It was massive with plenty of room to play for hours, also if you decide to go on a Tuesday it’s half price (£1.95).They have a cafe which serves coast coffee and a wide range of food! The building has a swimming pool and gym also included.The whole building was spotless and really modern. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutely love The Beach Hut at the Nova, Prestatyn. Its a very warm and cosy atmosphere with very great and friendly staff who are very happy to help in any way. The food is excellent. This afternoon we had a beautiful Sunday carvery I would highly recommend. They also do Costa coffee drinks and hot chocolate another bonus especially this weather. It is very clean and plenty of tables. Another bonus it is dog friendly which we love and we enjoy a walk along the promenade afterwards. All in all we love going to The Beach Hut anytime of year and so will you.

The Nova has a nice swimming pool and excellent gym facilities. There is also a large children's play area and a cafe.

On the beach. Staff very friendly and indoor play area great for kids. You can tell its a well managed place. Can't recommend it enough.

Nova center staff really didn't have a clue what was going on around them .I was wanted to take my children to the soft play area when I got in there I waited 10 minutes to be served then got a member of staff that was useless she told me to get a member car for my children so I said yes it took 20 minutes to fill out the forms then u had to pay no problem that will be 42.75 the clueless member of staff didn't tell me I had to pay 15 pounds a child for the cards at this point I didn't bother and walked out and away seen as u had been in there now for 45 minutes I got my children walked through to the play area payed in there .Soft play is good I have been to better the Jade Jones center in Flint is far better small but good for all ages and if you buy a card from here it only cost 2.50 a child and admission to all centers across Flintshire is a little less .Prestatyn Beach is lovely in clean good for dog walking and for children to play on plenty of cafes around to get ice creams and drinks playground not too far from the beach car parking charges do apply .

Nice clean pool and changing area. Communal pool side changing cubicles and lockers. Timed sessions with coloured wristbands. Plentiful on-site parking, but parking is chargeable with pay and display. The pool has swimming lanes, and they do aqua aerobic classes and swimming classes. There is also a soft play area with climbing and slides for younger children on site. There is a Cafe that serves snacks food and drinks with a Costa coffee. Also a bar .

Most of these issues has been fixed bu the are some that still remains. The hairdryer, the hand dryer and the extractor fan doesn't work in the changing room. The hairdryer's cable is also exposed. There is never any soap to wash hands with. More than half of the lockers are destroyed and unusable.
