After years of wanting to try out this salon I finally booked myself a head of highlights and a cut/style. The lady I spoke to over the phone was delightful and was incredibly helpful when I needed to fit in a patch test, and managed to squeeze me in an appointment at short notice. I was looked after by a lovely, bubbly stylist named Lottie who not only did an amazing job of my hair but also educated me about the products she was using, why she was using them and the appropriate aftercare for my hair type and style, giving me a care package to take home. I adored my hair and overall I was incredibly impressed by the warm, attentive staff and the relaxed, luxury vibe of the salon. I will not be getting my hair done anywhere else!!!!(Ps ignore the bleh at the end of my name, clearly a strange choice from teenage me)

I always leave Mint and Marigold looking and feeling my best! The welcome and level of service is the best and I always get a great hair cut and colour. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I highly recommend the salon!

booked for my first appointment for my nail done yesterday after receiving some vouchers for my birthday. Sat with Gemma and had my nails done. I was so pleased with the result and Gemma was so friendly and made me feel really welcome. We chatted really easily and room felt nice and relaxing. have booked to go back again :)

My first appointment with the salon was in the week that they opened - it is still fantastic all these years later. I have just had an amazing cut with Louise. The care that is taken is second to none! The products used are fabulous and the little extras like a delicious coffee, are just perfect. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The most amazing salon with the most amazing staff, I would not go anywhere else! I followed these ladies when their old salon closed and they opened Mint and Marigold. It has the best atmosphere, everyone is super friendly and you feel relaxed from the second you walk through the door. Wendy has been cutting and colouring my hair for at least 6 years now, she is truly amazing and has literally worked magic on my hair! I cannot praise her or the salon highly enough. Simply the best! X

I recently booked in for full head highlights and cut with Sophie. You can see in the pictures what I ended up with, the highlights were patchy and you could see brush marks. It looked awful, especially if I tied my hair up. I mentioned this to Sophie at the end of my appointment that I could see a patch, and she said it would fade when I washed it.I contacted the salon and emailed pictures, and Sophie called me and said 'so what is the problem with it'? Which worried me, as the issue is very visible in the photo.I was given an appointment to have it fixed with Wendy, and I was told that Louise (the manager) would be in to check I was happy with it. Halfway through my second appointment, Louise left, so she clearly wasn't that concerned.Wendy was very good, and tried to make it better by putting in some chunky low lights. I have attached pictures of the fix as well.It looks better than it did, but it's not great, and not what I wanted. It cost me £160 for a full head highlights and trim - it's a lot of money for something that is 'okay.'I have been to this salon a few times, I've had a couple of good experiences with Lottie, but never really got what I asked for. But my hair always looked good. This last occasion has put me off going back to this salon.

My experience at mint and marigold was fantastic! Had my hair done by the lovely Sarah and I am chuffed with it! She is one clever lady and lovely to talk to. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
