It's a tricky course with plenty of being shots and elevation change. The tees, fairways and greens were in good condition. In truth there are a few holes that bring each other into play around 3,4 and 5 that feels very clumsy and a little dangerous but otherwise a good tough course.

We hosted our sons 3rd birthday the function room AEGC. Would highly recommend and will definitely look no further for future party bookings. Amazing views, well presented room and great staff who couldn’t have been more helpful, thank you Nick, Gordon and Will!! Looking forward to the next party!

Booked through Golf now,wrongly listed as 18 hole course,played 9 holes then told its only 9 hole course,payed for 18 ! We found it challenging to say the least , few blind holes, greens on top of hills,undulating Brook meandering through the course, a bit zig zag layout ! Air compressor right outside cafe/ lounge entrance so mud trampled into these area's! All in all an OK experience don't think will be returning. Lovely welcoming gentleman on reception, pulled a good pint !

Very beautiful course and very very challenging. Only a 9 holer but there are different tee positions for playing it as an 18.Certainly worth a visit for the avid golfers out there.I will certainly be visiting again and hoping for a better result on the tricky 8th/17th par 3.Plenty of wide fairways for the wayward golfers but there are also plenty of hazards to try and avoid.

A very challenging and hilly 9 hole course. Greens were a little slow but to be expected given the amount of rain. The course itself handled the weather really well. Enjoyed the course immensely, you have to be straight! Only other downside was the breakfast served to our society was not worth the £12.50 charged!

For a 9 hole course it's good. Holds a lot of water, the greens were wet from an overnight rain but didn't dry out at all by three second time around. Nice staff and clubhouse. Overall, would definitely play again.

Not a bad course, but not blown away either. Greens were very slow and quite uninspired. Some tricky holes which were difficult to play for the first time. Plenty of opportunities to lose balls in ditches and foliage. The course has potential, but was rough around the edges. To be fair, it was 2 days after the hottest day ever recorded, so I cannot blame them for the parched fairways and dry water features. Will play again, but have been told it’s better in June. Locals were friendly and so were the staff at the clubhouse.
