What a treasure ! Such a massive playground! The sand pits are clean and fun to play in. It does get busy rather quickly. One thing we didn’t appreciate was the fact that the water play area wasn’t working well, even though it was a hot day.

Great for younger childrenWe have visited many time with my 2 sons (4) and (9) plenty to do for the 4 year old but limited for older kids, just a few climbing frames. The water play section is popular. The cafe nextdoor to the children’s garden is a shambles, recommended to bring a picnic.Limited staff, long queues and disorganised. 30 mins plus to get a hot drink

The kids area at Kew Gardens is great, but you should book inadvace to avoid disappointment during covid times. There are lots of things to do. They have a water selection where the kids pump water and have to create a path for it to reach it's destination. There is a picnic area, trampolines, a large sandpit with slides and wooden huts. Just outside is a restaurant where you can buy food and drinks, this includes hot as well as cold snacks. The closest entrance to the kids area is the Elizabeth Gate next to Kew Bridge.

Kew’s Children’s Garden
Fantastic new play space for children. Timed entry means its not too crowded even at peak times. Beautifully crafted themed play activities in scenic surroundings. A great way for children to spend 90 minutes.
