SPAR Helmsdale

Staff members are friendly and welcoming. Rosemary was very helpful and informative about Helmsdale which was very much appreciated.

Picture taken near Spar shop but a lot more to see, spectacular scenery and very friendly people who own the hotels and shops. Worth the Berriedale braes drive .

Small SPAR, only very few things but still sufficient.

very nice selection of just about everything a large supermarket has but 100 times smaller. great staff. creditable selection of alcohol, savoury snacks such as Bombay mix and cheesy puffs, a Costco coffee dispenser and hot bakery items in the mornings. Open 6am -10pm. How can you want more from a village shop across from a chippie???

Arrived at this shop after a 9 hour drive. I found the staff member who served me to be extremely judgemental and condescending. My teenage son was in the shop with me, carrying my basket and bags. The lady serving me had never met me, yet judged my parenting PRESUMING, I was buying a vape FOR MY CHILD as opposed to my husband who was in the car with our young children who were asleep. NEVER have I been looked down on by a shop assistant in my life until now. Asking can my husband come in the shop himself to buy a vape. How ridiculous.
