Kirklees Valley Trail - GM Walking | Kirklees Brook was a focus for water power-based industrial development in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.While Bury's Kirklees valley has always had wildlife value, the industrial remains, particularly the lodges (former industrial ponds) and stonework have allowed a more diverse range of habitats to develop.

I quite often walk here, locals call it 'the lines ' it's great weather your walking hiking or taking your dog for a walk, it's very relaxing.

A great place to walk,walk the dog,jog, cycle or horse ride very peaceful with a few people to let on to,no vehicles allowed and at one end a cafe plus free range eggs and ice cream at weekends and bank holidays.
