Shopping at HMV was interesting because I did not think that HMV was still trading so it was wonderful to see it in Reading. This was place was just so impressive. A lovely member of staff offered to assist (early 20s, short dark hair). She was nice and polite.This place has lots of impressive vinyl. It was amazing to see the diversity of what HMV had. Somehow, I cannot picture listening to Guns N' Roses on vinyl, but for some reason I can picture listening to Bob Marley on vinyl.Please feel free to check out the photographs I took of the album covers,This is just a great place to browse and this place has everything - Clssical music, World Cinema DVDs, great box sets etc.

Irrelevant store. They said vinyl was back in but I wouldn't buy any of these cheap unknown non-branded record players. Nothing from the major brands and nothing decent and when you actually do reviews on the ones that they do have you receive that they basically sound like garbage. I'm amazed that a shop like HMV will actually put their name to it. Nice to see them soldier on but basically selling all manner of Geek type stuff and if you want any of the music stuff it's pretty much very low quality.. good to see them around but I guess that's all I can say.

Convenient location inside the Oracle shopping centre, and great selection of records and other merchandise. I especially enjoy browsing the CDs section, where I can physically check out an item before purchasing.

Such cool merch, music and films etc! Always love their tshirts and funkos. They even had their t-shirts on hangars so you could see them fully :)

As I could not find what I was looking for I asked one of the members of staff for a CD called Guns & Roses. He was very helpful & found the CD I was looking for. The CD cost me £6.99 which I thought was good. I will definitely go back & buy the rest of my CD there.

Decent music shop with a wide range of music, dvd, and manga items, got my little one a little handbag for her 11th birthday which was quite strange and funky which was great as I was struggling to find any decent hello kitty stuff elsewhere

I love this shop so much. I’m a geek for anything Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter or Horror Classics and I can always find something. They also have many Blu-Rays for such a good price. It’s one of my favorite shop.

Popped in here with my girlfriend a few Saturdays ago on our last ever date. We were breaking up but had tickets for Jen Brister so were filling in the time between dinner and the show.When we walked in they were playing Jeff Buckley’s monumental album Grace. We entered during the start of Lover, You Should’ve Come Over which my beloved has always called the saddest song ever written.As if that wasn’t emotional enough, I tried to look through the DVDs during Jeff’s heart-stoppingly angelic reading of the 600 year-old hymn Corpus Cristi Carol. I then rocked out by the T-shirts to Eternal Life as the ground moved to Buckley’s immense range and power.The staff were very helpful with a TV series I wanted though sadly they only had it on Blu Ray and my beloved was taking the Blu Ray player with her when moving out the next day.Still, despite not buying anything that time, a beautiful experience to visit.
