We contacted Retro DJ looking to find the perfect DJ fit for our wedding and from the start Steve made sure everything was so easy and straightforward and he made the whole process completely stress free for us! He has been incredible, friendly and really took our thoughts and what we wanted for our night into account. Steve was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't be happier with how the night went, his music choice was perfect and he really listened to our favourite genres and we honestly couldn't have asked for the night to have gone any better. He was also an absolute hit with all our guests and many of them commented on how brilliant the DJ was! We also really loved the shoe game he suggested (like Mr and Mrs) and we thought it made the night even more special and gave our guests a good laugh! Steve played at our wedding and was fantastic. Thoroughly professional, got his music choices spot on and was totally accommodating to our requests.The evening entertainment is a huge part of the day and all of our guests loved it. The dance floor was packed all night.Would recommend Steve highly.

We hired Steve for our wedding on 13th April and he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we were in touch nothing was too much, from the zoom meeting, a million emails and questions from us and catering to all our rowdy guests on the day. We had told Steve the kind of music we liked and disliked which he stuck to it throughout the evening; we were also able to give him a list of songs we really wanted played and he made sure every single one was. When we couldn't decide on a last song (at the very last minute!) he played both we had mentioned <3 and all requests from our guests were played.Steve provided lovely lighting for the barn we were in and kept the party going all night and had a great sense of what song to play next to keep people dancing.If you are looking for a DJ who will make sure your event is personal to you and make sure all your needs are met Steve is you guy.Retro DJ you were sublime and we cannot thank you enough for making our evening special.

Steve did our music for our wedding reception on 22/10/2021. He was absolutely fantastic - his efficiency was flawless, he played all of the requested tracks by the bride and groom, and all the requests by guests - which was a lot to keep up with! He kept everyone well entertained, and the guests were happy and dancing.Communication was brilliant as well, he always replied to emails quickly and would find time for video calls.Would highly recommend, and thanks for an unforgettable experience! We use Retro DJ every year for our school prom at the Larmer Tree Gardens. He always arrives early to set up and is professional with all his equipment. When he starts, he know how to get the students engaged and up dancing and allows requests. He is super reliable and will keep in contact at appropriate points up to the event. We would highly recommend him for any function or event.

I booked Steve for my partner's 50th at our local pub. I chose him over dozens of other available DJs as his initial response to my enquiry was professional and personalised. In the run-up to the event, Steve went to great lengths to ensure that the event was specifically tailored to our preferences and he was very patient and kind when we were being rather disorganised!On the night itself, Steve was warm, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. His set-up was excellent, even with limited space in our venue. The lighting was fantastic and the set list was absolutely spot on.I really can't fault his service at all. Many thanks indeed, Steve!

We hired Steve to DJ for our Sergeants Mess summer function. It was a retro disco (80s & 90s) theme so the music Steve played was absolutely perfect and got everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. He provided the lights which really helped set the mood. He provided a fantastic service, we were able to contact before hand to talk about what songs we wanted, he was happy to take requests before and on the night. Great value for money and most definitely would hire again and recommend to other regiments on and around other Garrisons.
