We spent two nights at Lon Ban and wished we stayed longer. My husband and our children ages 16 and 19 thought that it was the highlight of our trip. Not only the place is spotless (location, decor, cleanliness), but Graham is very warm and welcoming, makes you feel like you are his house guest. He is an amazing cook and I highly recommend dining in at least one of the nights. All four of us have different food preferences and he managed to cater to all our tastes. The dog Alan is very cute and friendly, reminded us of our own poodle mix Benji.

where do I begin! We stayed three nights at this amazing place and so so loved it. We are two couples traveling together to Skye and the highlands. One couple from Texas USA and we are from the Netherlands. The rooms are really divine with an amazing bed and the decor is just the best. Then the food - omg omg omg the breakfast will last you the day and is so great when you plan for hikes like we did and then one night we booked the private dining with Graham and everything was just spot on! So delicious and really good - so yes we were so thrilled we had booked three nights here! Please treat yourself to this experience of a lifetime and book! Thanks Graham and Sam!

Spending a few days at Lon Ban was very relaxing. Bedding and towels were spotless. Bed was extremely comfortable and there teas and coffees in the room...replaced daily if used. The cooked breakfast was amazing. Arranging in advance an evening meal is a must, Graham has obviously learned his craft well over the years. Will definitely return.

My mother and I spent two delightful nights at Lon Ban House and couldn’t have been happier. Our host Graham went above and beyond at every stage of our stay. I booked directly with him and received detailed feedback on my list of restaurants and sights prior to our arrival. Then during our stay we fell behind schedule on our walk to the lighthouse, but Graham had expected this and kindly offered to collect us to ensure we didn’t miss our dinner reservation at three chimneys. The two rooms are expertly decorated with comfy beds and epic views out to sea. The apartment is located on one side of the house so you have total privacy, access to an honesty bar and your own private living room. We wish we had stayed more than two nights! The next important thing I must mention is the culinary expertise that Graham brings to the table (literally). The most divine breakfast spreads (pictured), followed by a full Scottish breakfast are sure to start your day right. Also strongly recommend having at least one dinner at Lon Ban during your stay because wow, it was awesome.Lastly, Graham, his partner and two dogs were all incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Can’t recommend staying here strongly enough!

You read the earlier reviews and think… It can’t be that good! Kathryn and I were there for three nights and as other reviewers say, it exceeds all your expectations.Very clean, very comfortable and Graham is a great cook. For breakfast…beautiful fresh fruit with yoghurt and excellent croissants followed by porridge followed by a cooked breakfast. I am a porridge aficionado but it seems he is too… And a purist! And a hot breakfast … Eggs on toast, bacon, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms with a little fresh thyme, grilled tomatoes, all washed down with lovely orange juice and tea and coffee served in antique silver pots.So the limited available establishments for lunch become irrelevant because I challenge anyone to eat following those breakfasts… before about 7 pm.But then you get dinner! Graham is a great chef who sources some wonderful local produce including seafood to die for. And just perfectly cooked. I hesitate to go into detail because I probably wouldn’t be able to express it sufficiently well. And Graham really is charming as is his wife Samantha. They really couldn’t have looked after us better. And Alan the unusually named wolfhound cross standard poodle puppy is a sweetie! Thanks Graham and we wish you well for the future. We shall certainly be back to check how it’s going. James

Wow!!! Must stay when you are visiting the Isle of Sky - 5 star experience from the time you book and until you leave.Graham was a fantastic host, his communication was prompt and clear. He was very warm & welcoming and we had lot's of great conversations throughout our 2 nights at Lon Ban.Beautiful house, incredible views, very thoughtfully furnished and decorated both inside and out. It rained one of the nights and we woke up to see 10 different waterfalls on the cliff across from the bedroom window. Nice amenities in the room including kettle, coffee machines, water and tea.The breakfast - where do I even begin! Gourmet would do it justice. Fabulous plating, yummy tasting and heart filling breakfast. I swear we were full until the evening but couldn't wait to have it again the next day. Finally, Alan the puppy was the best cheery on the cake for us since both my wife and I are big dog people. He was so playful and would come get his scritches whenever we asked for him and he was the cutest puppy ever. Can't wait to come stay again, Graham and excited to see how big Alan really get's when he's all grown up!!

The accommodation is private on two floors, separated from the main house, consisting of an entrance hall, lounge diner and upstairs a bathroom and two bedrooms. There is not a kitchen, but food can be arranged at the time of booking and is definitely worth including. We chose the option for evening meal and breakfast, and were blown away by the quality and perfection of meals that are sure to satisfy every palate. The cottage is impeccably curated inside, with furnishings that immediately make you feel comfortable, welcomed and familiar. The ever changing weather paints an incredible picture through the windows where you can watch nature’s drama play out while enjoying the meal that is prepared and served by Graham. This is more than just accommodation on the Isle of Skye, it’s an experience delivered with style and humility, that I can wholeheartedly recommend to any discerning traveler.

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at the Lon Ban House on the Isle of Skye and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to explore the beautiful island. The interior of the two bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. In the mornings we enjoyed a freshly cooked homebaked breakfast in the cosy living room. The view from there as well as from the bedrooms were just magical. The owners are warm and friendly, with lots of useful knowledge about the island. In short, we would always book it again and can only recommend it.

Words cannot describe how wonderful it was to stay at Lon Ban House. The house itself is beautifully styled with superb views and comfortable accommodations. The breakfast every morning was fantastic and a great way to start our day. Graham was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our conversations with him. He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips for our journey. I highly recommend staying here and plan on coming back for more adventures in Skye.
