Bubble CiTea

we are coming regularily to this Bubble ci tea shop and always buying the dirty milk tea. It was a disappointment today as it came with brown sugar bubbles instead the regular tapioca one. They did not ask about the substition before buying so it was a very unpleaseant surprise. In the end we had to throw away most of the two drinks as it was very sweet.

I have bought bubble teas from this place and many others and never experienced this before... I always ask for my drink to be cold but with no ice since it's annoying to have ice on the way at the end when you're trying to eat the bobba. Suddenly the price of the drink went up and the register read strawberry bubbles" I queried this and they explained to me in a bad manner that it costs extra. I found not only annoying that they're charging me extra money for ordering a drink without ice but also the fact they didn't advise in advance this would cost extra money.This is absolutely ridiculous and never experienced anything like this. I found the staff members were not engaged with the customers and did not care to give a good service. Not buying from here again."

New Bubble Tea store with delicious Tea! Had bubble milk tea with tapioca boba, wait was only a minute or two, but well worth it. Gluten free too! Will certainly be returning. Would be good if they did a loyalty card!

Great product, but let down by poor management. My favourite item has been unavailable on my last three visits due to missing ingredients. It's frustrating that such basic essentials weren't stocked. Unfortunately, this repeated issue has led me to stop going there altogether. Shame as I loved it.

The place looks dirty with lots of rubbish on the floor. The staff dont listen to what you order. 3 staff members, none know what they are doing. Shambles

I have been going there since the opening day of this store. Its a new kind of drink in this area. Kids love it. Taste changes occasionally may be dependent on who is making it. We have an option to take sugar or not. Its a tiny outlet so can see crowd in busy days.

Awful place to go to, server was fine with everyone else, as soon as we got to the front of the que not explaining anything, I felt it was because the colour of my skin to be treated differently, as first time going there, so not sure on how much sugar, ice, size of cup, and after paying for 5 drinks, the staff giving our drinks to us were not professional or friendly the drinks were sticky, not clean, not mixed properly, I don't think they know how to make bubble tea. I've been to many places, if you want to go to a great bubble tea place, T4u or MizuSawa in Bristol city centre never here. That's where I'll stick to.

The tea is ok. I asked less sugar but it is still very sweet. I want to exchange my tapioca to brown sugar bubbles (not as an extra), but they charge me 50p for that. I also want to have no ice and been charged 50p again which surprised me as these are always free in other bubble tea shop. And especially they did not mention a word when I am ordering. Worst experience of service ever.

This is truly an example of westernised Chinese bubble tea. It’s not authentic at all. The taste is barely average. The authentic bubble tea comes with tapioca not fruity bursts. Their tapioca are a lump and hard to suck from the straws (as shown in picture). This is either because it’s not freshly made or hasn’t been stored correctly. They are supposed to store with water to keep individual tapioca separately. And you use spoon with holes to get the tapioca. The cups are supposed to have sealed cover so that you can shake the bubble tea to loosen the tapioca and other fillings you add. Their cups however have a lid with hole for straw so you can’t shake. This seems to be the British way of making bubble tea not to shake so it looks pretty! If you choose large size the straw isn’t long enough to reach the bottom. It’s a shame that this is the only bubble tea shop in the Mall so despite the average taste and quality, it has no competitors! If you want some decent bubble tea, go to Park Street and Park Row near the university where many small authentic Chinese shops and restaurants are. For me, I will not buy from them again as it’s waste of money.

just visited Bubble Ci Tea at Cribs Causeway,Bristol. I placed an order for my drink without sugar and ice. However, the person at the till made it with ice and 100% sugar, which was not what I asked for. Unfortunately, due to this mistake, I had to throw the drink in the bin. The experience was terrible, and I have decided not to visit this place again. Moreover, I noticed that the appearance of the staff was not up to the mark and they looked untidy.
