Really knowledgeable set of lads, really friendly and efficient service. I had the rear diff reconditioned on my freelander 2 and a servicing of the Haldex. Couldn’t be happier the noise coming from the diff has completely gone. And they were able to advise me on what could also have been contributing to the noise I was hearing from my car. Very professional took the time to show me and explain things to me which was great! Will definitely be using again for all my land rover needs. Thanks again

Your Landy needs a new engine. It happens. It's disruptive, expensive and a pain in the ar*e. You search for a replacement, for a 20 year-old Defender. You find one on ebay, from A & B Landrovers – it looks the part. You make the call, and Andrew Tipp, founder of A & B Landrovers reassures you – He understands. You see for over 3 decades, Andrew and his team at A & B Landrovers have advised and supported people like me. I'm no enthusiast, my son is... I just want to get the vehicle back up and running – and I'm paying for it. The engine gets delivered, fitted and there are a couple of tiny teething issues. This next bit is where the six star review comes in – I can only give 5 you see. Andrew, at his expense, transports the vehicle from Suffolk to York, sorts, calls and returns at his cost. Andrew and his team take responsibility to sort. That's seriously old-school qualities – where we take responsibility, because that's how we would want to be dealt with. Ok, so I had a suspected faulty diff on my Freelander 2 (although was told it could be a number of things from the garage who carry out repairs to my car NOT A B Landrovers) they wanted silly money to investigate and repair (with all new parts).I decided at this point it would hardly be worth repairing and was considering trading it in.2 months later I stumbled across these guys after the problem went worse with another fault symptom and I decided to weigh up my options for a reconditioned diff and maybe save some money in the process.Boy was I glad I did.Spoke to Andy, very knowledgeable and helpful.Booked the car in the same weekDropped off at 9am and was driving home back to Preston at 3.30pm same day after spending the morning in York.The guys removed and reconditioned my diff probably better than new, serviced my haldex and reffited everything.Car drives smooth and as good as new and most importantly the humming noise I had was completely gone.These guys are excellent and saved me a packet on new replacement prices.Keep up the good work.Very highly recommended********Extra stars awarded above and beyond the maximum 5 stars I can give you on this post

Great customer service. Major works required on my partners Freelander 2. Very quick work. Good communication. Good price. We'll be bringing the vehicle over from Manchester for its annual service as these guys know Land Rovers passionatly and give high quality and sensible advice. I highly recommend.

Really good, quick and friendly service, had a rear differential rebuild service at less than half the price quoted by Landrover, work was completed in under 4 hours and all the guys were really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, would definitely use again
