My first time in this gem of a wool shop. Lovely selection of yarns, patterns and everything you need for your project. No hard sell, unlike some other shops, no pressure to buy needles just a friendly warm service. I'll definitely be back

I can’t rate this shop highly enough. I have come back to knitting after a gap of about 50 years and Frances and Eleanor have been so helpful in guiding and advising me. When I got into a pickle, they took the time to rectify my mistakes, I am enjoying knitting again and it’s great to know they will help and assist me if necessary. It’s wonderful to have a shop with this level of service and always with a smile, they are both so encouraging and helpful. Thanks so much.

A lovely wool shop bursting with great yarns, patterns and haberdashery at good prices. Whether you need buttons, knitting needles or even a yarn bowl (made by her husband) you'll find it here.The owner is very friendly and helpful which is always a plus for me.

Oh my gosh. This is the best find I've had in a long time. Francis the owner and her colleagues are really helpful. They have ignited my passion for knitting again. Also just finished a couple of knitting classes to refresh my memory. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, can't recommend this shop highly enough.
