As a maintenance business , we use screwfix southam all the time it's always good service and never any messing about , cheryl the branch manager goes above and beyond to help us get products that aren't available in store but in other branches . Excellent friendly service recieved today. I visited the store after taking my dog to the vets, on arrival I checked before entering if my dog could come into the store (actually not expecting to be able to bring her in!). Wow- all staff were so friendly, welcoming and very happy for me to bring her in with me. Cheryl the Store Manager was brilliant with her, as were all the other staff. Cheryl helped me with how to order what I was looking for using the ipad which was excellent. I felt most welcome and will definately be a returning customer. Highly recommend the staff and this store. Thank you :)

Great new location for me. Click and collect worked well next day for some items but had to wait two days for steps.

Ordinarily I have no issues in this store. Today however I had the ridiculous situation where an o line order I went in to collect but was refused as I had my 17 year old son with me. The products were solvents (Brake Cleaner) to perform a repair job on his motorcycle. Now whilst I appreciate there is a legal requirement to only sell these products to 18 and over I doubt I would have had the same problem if I actually had my 10 year old with me. Instead I had to drive straight to the branch in Daventry where I purchased the products with him in tow with zero issues. Perhaps some common sense would of been appropriate. I suggest you make it clear that you should not bring your children to store if collecting these products.
