I've purchased a custom made pro grade 1+ bat from Martin. Super service. The bat is outstanding. We have also used Martin for our branded cricket wear and it is fantastic.

Hidden away in an industrial unit, you can imagine that it needs to be good as all the customers must go there because of recommendations. You won't be disappointed - a huge range of cricket equipment (the biggest I've seen by far), including cricket bats made by the owner - we bought one each for two of our sons and they love them. If you can use it for cricket they will have it here. They've got an excellent selection of hockey equipment too. There's also a cricket lane for hire with two bowling machines - junior and adult. You can hire the lane for an hour or two, or have an hour with the excellent coach (coaches county juniors) for a very reasonable price. Very close to Gloucester Quays for food or a drink. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended (we went for the first time today and we're going back tomorrow!).

What a fantastic cricket shop hidden away in the trading estate. Recommended by my cricket team. The staff are really knowledgeable and I even managed to get my cricket bat repaired saving me purchasing a new one. Definitely going to try out the indoor batting lane soon.

I purchased a set of personalised netball bibs and experienced amazing customer service. Martin was great to communicate with over email and always so helpful, checking the product was what I wanted before proceeding with personalisation. Excellent product that was delivered so quickly. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Fantastic shop for any cricket and hockey fanatic. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff and Martin well go the extra mile. A wide variety of well known brands, including their own Hunts County. Reasonably priced for every level of player

Please don't buy from them, extremely poor customer service and doesn't follow the Consumer Rights legislation. Bought a cricket sidearm thrower for a gift for a father and son. Item came extremely poorly packed and so the box was squashed. This was meant for a present to someone, they couldn't even bubble wrap it to safeguard that. Then upon inspection the item had significant scratches on the back. The organisation never commented on the packaging issue. They felt the scratches was normal apparently to the way it manufactured. We know others with these, they are not in that condition. Furthermore it is next to impossible to use the item, the cricket ball will just not come out. We tried with several adults. The company argues a profession coach was able to do it, that may be fine for them but this item just did not work. They argued it was not faulty and would not accept to pay for the return postage until I threatened to go to the credit card company. After they got the item several weeks later I never heard from them. Had to chase them for what was happening to my refund to be told they had not inspected the item. I informed them I did not need to wait for the item, I had rejected the goods due to the faults. They paid after I said I will raise to the credit card company to then find out they did not pay the full amount, they took off the postage costs! I have now raised this to the credit card company. Take a look at the photos yourself. The video is too large to upload but it is nothing like those you see on You Tube, it is obvious this has a fault and poorly handled by this Retailer.Clearly if you read there below response you can see they (a.) Haven't even commented on the way it was packaged and shipped and (b.) Have blatantly lied about the customer getting a full refund as the customer hasn't got a full refund, that is factually incorrect. Lastly the deep scratches are clear for all to see. The retailer believes they do not need to follow the consumer rights act, the credit card company will ensure this is upheld and demonstrate what this retailer expects customers to do to remedy an issue. Once the case is successful it will prove beyond reasonable doubt the breach the retailer made and the lengths they expect customers to go through.BEWARE all if you want an organisation who doesn't follow the law I wouldn't shop with them, regardless of how long they've traded and the small number of positive reviews they have vs. other organizations.

All small businesses should be this friendly and helpful. We needed a few items and the staff were super. Highly recommend a visit here for any cricket gear.

I've been coming to Martin Berrill for 5 years now, his knowledge of cricket bats is second to none - he has the ability to read a player and pick a bat straight away, and the bats are brilliant!! From the base bats up to the pro bats, each one is perfectly made for the price range. The range of other equipment is very good too. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
