Farndon Cricket Club

You have to be a member to drink there unless your with a member of the club who drinks there & it's only open when the club is in 'session' or an event is happening, such as a match... which is mostly in the summer months. (check for details) .... but, the company is pleasant and the drinks are cheap.... the 'kids play area' across the opposite side of the field, is well equipped with a set of skateboard ramps, swings, and spinning things and there's also a few 'work out equipment apparatus.... Benches/seats are place around the field at different locations so you can watch the cricket or football whilst the kids are burning some energy off.... Its easy to find and parking is found by accessing Farndon village at the 'Tile shop' turn off.... follow it to the bottom of the road, take a 'left... follow for 300 yards (give or take a shekel) and look to your 'left' for the Community hall & police station outpost... taking ya motor/vehicle around the back gains you access to the car park and field. It can be a mellow Sunday when the weathers nice if you like to hear the sound of willow hitting leather.... ?
